I installed this knob on a wood screen door. I drilled a hole for the knob link and the screws. It works great!!

I like the 2 sets of holes. The old holes were not quite lined up with the closer holes to the handle. I drilled new holes in the door to match the new outer screw positions.

Easy to assemble, minimal tools needed if you’re just replacing and old one.

Poor quality, rough working action

this door handle did not last 3 months. Broke right off at the stem that connects to handle. Had to buy another. fingers crossed that it last four months plus.

Didn't function after install. Returning as detective.

I purchased this screen door latch kit because of the price and I forgot the old saying you get what you pay for.

Like the product and was very easy to replace from the old one

Item was defective new in unopened package. I did an exchange which is okay but in the future I might avoid this $15 item and have to upgrade to the stronger $38 of a different style. No an ideal product for rental properties.. Again will switch if the newly exchanged working product breaks again.

I'm not sure if these still come with a 'lifetime guarantee' - but they did for years. How do I know? Because I've been buying these latches for my backdoor for what seems like decades: they all fall apart after 2 years, max. I've tried getting a free replacement - but there are so many loopholes, I gave up. They look really nice - but they just don't have staying power. Also, beware - the lock can engage quite easily; so much so that I now tape them in the unlocked position.

It does the job... the spring could be a little tougher to catch the latch better, however, it is not a big problem.

I bought this to replace our broken screen door knob, thought it was basically the same thing, but it's been such a problem. It sticks, and you have to jiggle it back and forth many times to get it open. People who aren't used to it think the door is locked. We've tinkered with it endlessly.

Replaced the old latch easily. Came with several shims for different door thicknesses. Holding up well. Looks good

Good day , I purchased the Wright product white knob latch and it is really good ,my screen door had a tendency of opening with every time the wind would blow but Not know it is safe .

door handle hang up and stick sometimes

It surprisingly worked with an aluminum storm door from the 60s! However, the square rod that goes through the center did not tightly fit in either handle. I had to use the original from the 1960s handle.

Broke during installation. Poor quality.
