Handles were cheap plastic and did not work even though they said universal. I returned them.

Overall the item is simple to put together but if you've never replaced or installed one the directions aren't clear for a novice repairman or homeowner. I had to make a slight adjustment from my old lock to my new lock but it was a matter of tilting the new lock in order to get the new lock in to place.
