A:  Thank you for your interest in our Wright Products push button latches. Screw hole spacing is 1-3/4" or 1-1/2" on the V398 model.

A:  I believe you can get them from the company.

A:  Perhaps old spindle from previous lock will fit or can be trimmed

A:  Replacement part ~ not that I am aware of. Think you have three choices: Use old part if you can, or Find/buy/cut a new part, or Buy a complete new unit.

A:  try a nail..... cut to size of spindle you need....not sure if they are sold separately...

A:  Yes, for storm and screen doors.

A:  Yes, this will work on a vinyl screen door.

A:  Fits out-swinging storm and screen doors 3/4" to 1-1/4" thick. Drill template provided.

A:  It comes with a template if you have to drill. If you dont want to drill and are just replacing then you have to match the existing hole

A:  I looked at the one I installed on my door and you shouldn't have any problems installing it on a right closing door, as long as you center the strike plate in the center of the latch.
