This kit was easy to use for the repair of a leaking model 17. Instructions were easy to follow along with pictures of assembly.

The instruction says it includes everything you need. Then, it tells you to save and reuse an old brass washer from the old rod. I had a hard time to remove a stripped screw to remove the handle to get the old brass washer out. Even though I finally got it out by cutting the old rod, why not just simply include a new brass washer in the kit as you claim that all parts are included for the sake of convenience for your customer? I don't even know if that old brass washer is a must because there is already a pretty thick rubber washer that came in the kit. I was only following the instructions. Other than that, this kit did fix my dripping faucet issue. I understand people bought this kit probably because they were replacing the old one, and I am all for reusing part(s) if possible. But people might not be able to reuse the brass washer from the old rod for whatever reasons they might have. Please just slip a new brass washer in the kit if it's a necessary part to make this kit work or work better. If it's not necessary, please update your instruction, so they don't need to make the extra effort to get the old brass washer out of the old rod! Thank you for reading.

Very easy to install. I liked that it came with all the necessary parts, templates, and instructions needed to make this a quick, error free replacement. Certainly recommended.

Worked great and easy to put together. The visual diagram is a must to follow if you’ve only done it for the first time. I needed this because my original handle broke/rusted off the shaft.

I am returning this product because it did not address the problem I was having with the valve stem unscrewing all the way out of the valve body when turning on the water. The original valve stem has a stop that won't allow the valve stem to travel all the way out of the valve body.

Easy to change out. Went together well and had no leaks or problems. It has been 3 weeks and still good.

Fixed my issue on a 35 year old house. I did have put the handle back on after removing the packing, use pliers on the handle, and turn counter-clockwise firmly-but-gently to pursuade the old rod to come out of one of the two faucets I rebuilt. The hard water made me glad I bought this rebuild kit which includes new rods - my rods were ugly with build up. The clip-together rod thing worked fine. I only had a single small extra section unused after it all was done, so it didn't feel wasteful having bought this kit.

Great product...fixed my 15 year old outdoor hot & cold hose bib with great instructions and ease of replacement. Actually an upgrade from the original equipment. Looking forward to getting 20 years out of this one.

Can't go wrong. Very easy to understand. Would be nice if they gave new washer used my old one. Don't know why Home Depot don't carry it in store.
