[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a similar, smaller, Whirlpool refrigerator before this new one, and are enjoying the extra cubic foot or so on this model. Our only issue is there is some kind of mark on the inside of the freezer (see photos). We had to wait an extra week for it from the factory as it was, and it has this flaw. Not sure where it might have come from. Odd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a month or so ago as our fridge of 20 years quit. It’s a basic fridge that cools food. One of the door corners seems shoddy. The stainless steel doesn’t meet on the corner. See photo below. The door does not seem to have as much suction when closing as my old fridge. There have been several times when the door doesn’t close completely. It is also much louder than I am used to. Several times, I’ve looked to see if the microwave is running only to realize it’s the fridge. I probably wouldn’t buy again but needed something immediately that fit the space that I had. This will be the “garage fridge” at some point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an old refrigerator that we had for over 20 years that was also a Whirlpool fridge. It lasted such long time, so we wanted another Whirlpool fridge. Lots of room inside with compartments that are perfect for our needs. We will have it for many years to come! Really helps store lots of items, stays cold, and I like that the door is reversible, and I can add an ice maker if I’d like to since it has the water lines already installed. And it’s so quiet! Don’t hear it running at all. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It wasn’t until the refrigerator was installed that I realized having the refrigerator on the bottom snd freezer on top was not the right fit for my spinal stenosis (bending is not comfortable)!! But…the addition of “lazy susan’s” make all the difference! And I love the clear see through drawers! I was able to turn a negative into a positive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago because our nearly 20 year old refrigerator stopped working. I bought the stainless 2 door. Was pleased with the delivery and set up. Disappointed in how the metal has been replaced by plastic and shelving glass not as thick as my old. The plastic drawers are a thinner plastic as well. Overall it’s a good refrigerator.

Always found reading the reviews very useful so hopefully someone finds this useful as well. After my apartment GE refrigerator started making popping noises for 2 weeks straight, figured it was time to start refrigerator hunting. For the record this is the first refrigerator I ever purchased. It was installed late last last month. Some points - Read a lot of reviews before purchasing and this one came up in a lot of lists. I live in a large studio apartment so was bound by apartment size. This refrigerator fit perfectly in the existing alcove. - I attached a picture, the steel look went with the rest of my appliances but as you can see its a fingerprint/smudge magnet. Its tall compared to my previous GE fridge which was a 16.6 model. Im 510 and have to reach with both hands to place stuff on top. - Love the handle-less look as every bit of space counts. I also like the LED bulb as I thought it was a modern touch. My favorite is the door storage - like the rack on the bottom and there are several containers that can be moved around on the door. Note that you have to remove the adhesive tape thats holding down the containers before you can lift them (took me a couple of seconds to figure out) I had no need for an ice maker so didnt get that. The noise from the motor is discernible in the kitchen but does not disturb me outside- keep in mind that I live in a studio for what its worth - And this is probably the most important part of the review - after it was installed, I discovered that the freezer gasket was not sealing completely. I think its poor quality control from Whirpool as i read the same thing on another interview here. The entire top of the freezer and two inches or so on each side. I discovered it after seeing condensation outside on the fridge walls - and of course the icicles inside the freezer as a result. I placed a service call to Whirpool directly (remember to register your new fridge!) on Friday and a tech came on Monday - happily it was a quick fix. He used a hairdryer on the gasket seal loose parts and it expanded and sealed perfectly. I had the fridge for about 2 weeks since and have had no complaints since. I also had to clean some vaseline type goop on the drawer runners - minor gripe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was just the right size for my husband and I. It has a ice maker and all the drawers. The freezer is large enough to put in large pans or pizza. I was able to put in shelves in the freezer where I wanted them. It is very quiet when running. I would recommend this product.

But, there were a couple flaws. the door suction is a bit weak, so if you close the refrigerator door hard then it will bounce open again. The drawer also does not open smoothly, and there was cracking inside. However I was reimbursed for this so I am very happy about that. Great product otherwise.

I've had this fridge for about a month now I am please with it. Lot's of room in the refrigerator and on the door. Freezer works great. Not a fan of stainless steel but I have the proper cleaner for smudges. I love it. Hopefully it will last 15+ years like the one I just replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator works fine. Roomy and well laid out. However, the white door has a smudge under the clearcoat. It looks like a greasy fingerprint that is smooth on the surface and apparently under the clearcoat. If I was using it in my kitchen, it would be going back. But too much hassle to return it.

I waited two months since purchase in April 2021 to write this review. It was a great buy in all aspects except the frosty freezer. It has only one temperature control in the refrigerator section. Now I am storing fewer items in the freezer to allow enough airflow and to keep moisture out. The frosty situation has improved but not totally eliminated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like big door shelf for gallon of milk. I like the 2 different sizes of vegetable drawers. I don't really use the meat drawer slider. I wish the top shelf was split for 2 shelves to make the meat drawer height adjustable. I put tall items on one side of top shelf. The whole shelf has to be lowered. That puts meat drawer so low for next shelf it is not usable under drawer. Refrigerator is a little loud.

i purchased two of these frigs. one for the kitchen and one for the garage. i removed a large (26 cubic foot) frig from my kitchen. took too much room, was empty most of the time, and was sick of replacing filters for the ice maker/water. i was spending 120 a year on replacement filters. then the ice machine broke. i just wanted a smaller frig that all i had to do was plug it in. this fit the bill. the one in the garage keeps pop, etc cold and the one in the house is great. love the simplicity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge 15 days ago and I like it is very efficient it cools normal it is not noisy I hope it is also efficient in energy consumption the only detail I can find is there is a lack of light at the bottom and I would love a light in the freezer and also I think they are missing a part when they deliver it that must be in the freezer.

I purchased this item about a month ago. I wanted to update my old kitchen with stainless, so far so good. I also added an ice maker to the unit, which is sold separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased Whirlpool after a long relationship with a GE unit. It had finally died after two motherboards, sensor replacement, and a broken veggie drawer. On the positive side, this refrigerator has nice functional design and flexibility built in, including easy adjustable shelves. Adding an icemaker was extremely simple and made that much better by being fully pre-plumbed and ready to go. as for negatives, even fresh from the factory the drawers appear extremely fragile and will have to see how long they survive. Hoping for the best and enjoying the first week of excellent performance!

I bought this right before we were on lockdown for the pandemic, figuring I had better replace my old refrigerator with a reliable one. A couple of days ago, my wife commented that our chocolate from the freezer was not fully frozen. I brushed it off, only to discover a couple of days later that our entire freezer was completely melted! The refrigerator was also not keeping anything cool. We lost all of our food. I pulled up the warranty, and of course, Whirlpool will not stand by their product enough to cover spoiled food. One should expect that a new refrigerator should last AT LEAST five years...I'm being generous here. Whirlpool should cover spoiled food--sorry, but if your product is top notch, then really stand by it. They should give you $100 voucher--I'm being generous again. I have never had a refrigerator go out in under a year. I called the service department and they scheduled a service call....for Tuesday. Today is Friday. I have no refrigerator until then. I am attaching a couple of photos of the food that we lost.
