[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve used this new fridge for over a month now, and it has been a revelation. Compared to our old side-by-side it has been simple to use, set & maintained temperatures, and has all the space we need.

I read all of the one star reviews that said the freezer wouldn't keep their food cold. I figured this had thousands of reviews and only a few 100 people were saying this so they must be unlucky. well, 2 weeks in and I've noticed freezer doesn't freeze. I Noticed my ice cream was melted even though it is set to coldest setting. I then put ice in the freezer to test it and the ice melted. Whirlpool said they will send a tech but I just want to send this piece of crap back

Also, the seal on the refrigerator door is not as tight as I am use to--When I open the door, I always wonder if it was actually closed all the way or not.

I have called the company I bought it from and they are sending a repairman. This is a new refrigerator/freezer that was ordered in July and delivered in November! Four months of waiting and it needs repair. This makes me very sad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the interior. One of the produce drawers doesn't slide as easily as the other one. When the motor is running it's pretty loud but I guess I'll get used to that.

The fridge is fine. Freezer has been nothing but disappointing. Constantly freezing up. The seal is terrible. Air and moisture is constantly coming in. Frozen food gets ruined. I’m trying to find the manual and see if I can turn the freezer off and use the top for dry storage, like a cupboard.

The doors in the refrigerator are rusting after only 9 months! I called and had a technician over to look at them. He was unable to clean it off with their special chemicals and whirlpool said they won’t repair or replace because it’s cosmetic. Wow! Buyer beware!!

I don't like that i have many options for shelf placement for items like taller items for soda or something similiar and the 2 drawers on the bottom do not close tightly so there is a gap which i dont beleive there should be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a loyal Whirlpool user for over 30 years. Without a doubt, I repurchased a new refrigerator from Whirlpool a month ago. Unfortunately, it was in an unacceptable condition. Please see the attached pictures. The lower left corner of the door look horrible. The flexi-slide bin in the new fridge came with stubborn glues on it. I am challenging the quality control from Whirlpool. I hope this survey is more than just a routine survey.

So I really feel this is an outlier. This unit and the other unit I recvd as replacement ( only 5 serial numbers apart). Immediately had compressor issues. The ceiling of the refrigerator developed heavy condensation that proceeded to dip down shelves and form ice icicles- regardless of setting. Again both the first unit and the replacement had the exact same issue- being a had size restrictions I had to go with the freezer on the top model Needless to say 3rd time I switched to a different brand

I have only had this refrigerator for a couple of months. I purchased 2 other stainless products at the same time, as well as owning a stainless trash can. I initially saw a couple small rust spots on the door, but assumed it would just wash out with normal cleaning. (I live alone, so not like it is getting ran into with bicycle handlebars or used as a track for Hotwheels). Well not only have the spots increased in size, but they have multiplied, and DO NOT BUFF OUT with a stainless steel cleaning product.A decent amount of $$ to spend on an appliance rhat can't even hold a finish. Sigh. And it is "past the 30 day warranty."

small, compact, but good for what we needed. it can be considered a tad louder than some fridges but i feel like that's pretty common with smaller fridges(less insulation). having it in a fridge box helps a little as well but you don't want it so boxed in with no gaps that the fridge can't breathe. remember to pull it out every few years and shop vac/remove dust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went for the vintage look, it fits it completely! Stunning visual to enter into the room! The vegetable drawers are a bit flimsy and could be a concern if we weren't just using this appliance part time, I hope they last. The leveling has been a bit of a challenge, the door tends to swing open and after adjusting, tends to not close...need to keep messing with it to get the right combination. But...all said, it is one beautiful appliance and addition to our kitchen. After freezer on the bottom for so many years, a little adjustment to have on the top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the new frig with having the same size foot print of my old one but gives me 3.5 more cubic ft. of storage. My only issue is the ice maker does not perform as well as my old one. I am using ice trays to keep a second tray filled with ice. It troubles me that I may have a defective ice maker that I may purchase another one, change out to see if performance increases? Does Whirlpool have a hybrid Ice Maker Available? The ice maker takes four days to fill tray that has me concerned? Does anyone have any advice or same comment on ice maker?

Freezer part stays cold however the fridge part is only slightly cool. Called Home Depot and was told since it was more than 48 hrs since delivery we have to have a tech come to look at it, I was told no one can come until July 25, 2 weeks later! I called Whirlpool and was told the same info. Days go by and the fridge gets warmer and I now have to throw away food, I notice the bottom of the unit is literally splitting apart. Still can't get a replacement until tech comes and looks in 2 weeks!
