[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A month old now. We had a repair in the first couple days - wiring not connected inside the machine. Freezes & cools well as required.

I bought this in 2019 and today Refrigerator is not cooling. Food in the freezer got soft. The instruction manual said to set it to a colder setting. We did that and for a day refrigerator worked then again it stopped cooling. The refrigerator temperature fluctuates 35-40 and similar for a freezer. Why I have to do all these hassles when this refrigerator not even 5 years old. I will try to contact Whirlpool and see if they can help troubleshooting and fix this issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 10 days ago. It's different from my old GE. The freezer is definitely smaller than my old GE. Hopefully it helps with the electric bills, unlike the GE. This whirlpool isn't a quiet refrigerator. It's December and whenever I open the refrigerator door for stuff, it starts its run cycle and it vibrates. I keep my cilantro, mint and celery in tubs with a little water and a plastic breathable dome and find that the water in those little tubs freezes over at the bottom shelf rear. The controls are set as per recommendation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part, we are very happy with this refrigerator. Functionally, it work perfectly and there is much more room than our previous one. So we are happy. The only issue is that the lower door hangs a little incorrectly. The gap between the freezer door and refrigerator door slants noticeably such that the handle side has a greater gap. Other than that, it is fine.

They did replace it all together it took me over a week and a half to receive my new refrigerator that's for both trips by that time my food had spoiled. And i was not aware that this refrigerator did not come with a light in the freezer. So I have to use a flashlight to be able to get some meat or fish from the back of the refrigerator. It also did not come with a grill or kick grill? But yet in the insert both items are listed?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tons of problems not fixed yet both doors be replaced. They were damaged when the fridge raider was delivered. That was over three weeks ago I am still to get the new doors delivered and put on. In the meanwhile, I have ice buildup in my freezer and in my fridge raider, there’s all kinds of water dripping down onto my shelves I cannot wait to get this fixed. It’s very heartbreaking that you pay all this money for a new appliance and it’s just a mess right now.

Purchased this fridge about 4 years ago. Fast forward, fridge started to freeze foods in the fridge. We changed settings - did not help. Called a repair person because the fridge is out of warranty. The repair cost for this fridge is higher then buying a new one. Evaporator, thermistor, control assembly and low on freon!!! How can this happen to 4 years old fridge? The quality is low and now I have to buy a new fridge! I will never buy Whirlpool again and will not recommend this brand to anyone.

So unfortunate I had to replace my Kenmore refrigerator after 25 years. Certainly don’t expect this Whirlpool to last anywhere as long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st refrigerator delivered had a bad bottom door seal and I sent it back. 2nd refrigerator delivered I had the door reversed to open on the right. When I opened the door it fell on the floor and it took me an hour to get it to stay on. The bottom door hinge was not installed properly. 3rd refrigerator seems to be working so far; but is a little noisy when it runs. I ordered the first refrigerator on July 14, 2023 and got the one I am using now on August 12, 2023.

Bought November 2021 as a second refrigerator. My husband just took a 1" layer of ice off the bottom of the freezer! Obviously, it isn't defrosting properly.

This fridge is made cheaply. It runs loud and limited space. The veggie bins are super small and do not fit much. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not the first refrigerator of choice, could not preview in person. Had to have hinges switched for my kitchen layout. This every time I go to use refrigerator I brush by the light and turn it off. Also freezer door really has no tightness when opening, noticed condensation on top of refrigerator door and noticed bottom gasket of freezer has crystals of condensation. Installer coming next week to check. Found that freezer is so long top to bottom that I really have to stoop and reach into refrigerator thus hitting my head on freezer door- have to constantly be aware of this. Noted motor is not really quiet - my 25+ Gibson was quieter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a basic fridge/freezer without the bells and whistles of many appliances today. This appliance is exactly that. I had to call for maintenance to come out within a day of having the fridge/freezer, and had to wait a week for him to come out due to my work schedule. Turns out that the gasket was not sealing, allowing warm air in, causing the freezer to frost heavily and the fridge to keep things only lukewarm. The repair man was knowledgeable and efficient, used heat on the gasket so it would seal. I would have obviously preferred the men who installed it to have noticed and fixed the issue right away.

It is making very strange noises. It sounds like something is taking off and then stops. Sometimes when we get ice cream out of the freezer it is soft or has thawed and then has refrozen.
