It was the only 18 inch dishwasher I could. It's small and stylish!

I have a smaller kitchen in my apartment and this Whirlpool model has worked out perfectly so far. Relatively quiet, you can hear the dishwasher running but it's not annoyingly loud. It has the expected options, the time-delay feature is perfect for setting for after you leave or overnight. Just enough room with or without the silverware holder, the cleaning is perfect everything I've so far. Yes, the drying agent light for refilling could use a redesign, it's not impossible to see but is annoyingly hard at times. Overall, it's worth purchasing. Don't waste for money for the same options/performance, don't spend less just to save a buck, buy this model and you'll be happy IMO.

If we installed a standard dishwasher, we would have had to remove 4 large drawer leaving us with less storage. This 18" dishwasher saved the day. We removed one small cabinet and Viola! My hands thank you. And this is the quietness dishwasher we have ever owned. That's a plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this installed in a kitchen and bar remodel, It works great for my bar glasses. we didn't have space for anything bigger and didn't want to transport glasses to kitchen.

We installed this model (WDF518SAFB) dishwasher in August 2017 and in September 2018, the heavy wash cycle and hour delay buttons both stopped working. Shortly thereafter, the pots and pans button stopped working. Last night, when I loaded the dishwasher and started it, I discovered the heated dry button has also stopped working (it worked the night before). Now it’s a waiting game to see what button(s) goes next, and how much longer the start button is going to last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been perfect for my new small house. Efficient and quiet. Only downfall is pump housing cracked. But Whirlpool online service had someone out within a few days and new pump ordered. I'm certain they will make all good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item does not seem to clean cutlery as well as the one it replaced, which I believe was a Frigidaire.It is quieter but does not seem to hold as much. I like the interior finish. Also, the rinse agent gauge is noteasy to read.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an 18: dishwasher that can fit in a lot of dwellings. It's stainless inside, runs pretty quiet and gets things nice and clean. We like it a lot.

The main circuit board went haywire after less than a year. I expect better quality from Whirlpool!

The racks are so cluttered with pegs that it is difficult to arrange items. There is less useable space than my old machine.

Its an 18" but it fits a lot of dishes and cleans large loads well. We went with the 18 inch dishwasher in place of a full because that is what was there when we moved in. I am happy with how well it works and it has a clean look.

We got this compact dishwasher and absolutely love it. Would highly recommend purchasing whirlpool products.

I installed this four weeks ago and I'm very pleased. The only drawback is I wish the control panel was lighted.

Although we would have preferred a full size dishwasher, we only had room for a compact model. We are very pleased with dishwashing results and especially like the delayed start feature.
