The Danish oil was the quality I expected from Home depot. delivery was prompt and the store service was excellent

Great price and quick turn around. Only negative is they shipped in the original package from the manufacture which was not designed for direct shipping. Cans came very dented but since they are not leaking it is okay.

I've used this product for many, many years in my woodwork. I've tried other products (e.g. more expensive), and don't find them to be any better than the old reliable Watco Danish. I've recently started using blended with different wood stain products to speed job times, and it works surprisingly well.

I have always used Watco stains to get a deep, rich furniture grade look. I just finished building a unique break room for a business with lots of stained wood work and almost every employee that entered the room for the first time asked what kind of stain did I use? You will love using it!

Use to seal pine floors, turned out well. User friendly and can be reapplied easily over time without having to sand. No shine.

It arrived early and the product works very well in wood to seal and bring out the natural grain

We have used Golden Oak Watco Danish Oil for previous projects and really like it. We selected it now for some new under-bed drawers. This color seems to have gone out of favor, as it is not offered by other retailers, and we had to buy the 4-pack to get it from Home Depot. I needed 2 1/2 pints, so this was a good quantity to buy.

I've used this for years. Easy to apply but be patient if you want to add a top coat finish (e.g., Minwax Wipe On Poly) because you'll need to wait until it completely dries to do that and that could take a few days depending on your weather. Works great on oak. I had an oak desk and bought an unfinished oak credenza and bookcase and got an exact match using a blend of the different colors. With these 5 colors (Dark Walnut, Medium Walnut, Cherry, Golden Oak and Natural) and various "recipes", I've been able to match any color of furniture I own. Will take some experimenting though. I used some thin oak panel as test for my different recipes but be sure to let it dry completely before you see if you've got a match. Don't let it set more than 1/2 hour but add more stain as it soaks into the wood and be sure to wipe off the excess. Good luck.

Perfect for the project, used it for western cedar beams. Customer loved the dark finish.

The stain gave good results, but I expected a darker color.. Multiple applications still failed to give the dark appearance I was looking for.
