trigger kept coming loose and THIS MODEL DOES NOT COME WITH PAINT CAN LID!!! It comes with a plastic stick that attaches to the side of can, what a joke

I have loved this product for many years, but they redesigned it and it doesn't work anymore. It leaks now even on the first day of use! I even ordered another one thinking that I just got a bad one. I ended up throwing both in the trash! I wasted my money and am very sorry that they decided to change a design that worked so wonderfully. I will not buy another one and told all my friends that I had recommended it to that they had changed the design and not to buy it now.

I am in a wheel chair and had to paint the ramp myself and it made my work so much easier and faster.

I have found that it's just easier to buy a new one of these puppies when I'm ramping up a big DIY job. Assemble it, making sure to lube the 3 O rings (1 in the tube and 2 on the roller) per the instructions and off you go ! Make sure the cover on the paint can is tight to make the wand fill optimally. A slow and steady pull on the plunger works best for filling. Push the plunger down to force the excess paint back into the can when you're done for the day. Lots of water is needed to flush all the parts out for the day. I do my roller and parts cleanup in the laundry tub. A roller is good for a couple of days maybe. I put a new one on when it starts to get stiff over night. Did I mention lots of water for cleanup ? A high quality paint will give the least splatter during application - but the shield works OK too. After trying to store a couple of these over 12+ months with mixed results (rust, drying out, etc.), I just gave up doing that. What the heck; a good paint brush can cost around $20 ! How many of those do you have ? Enjoy !

How I spent 40 years painting without this product is beyond me. I LOATHE painting and, when we bought our new house, I was in total dread of having to paint these 15 x 15 rooms with 9 foot ceilings. A friend of mine from work was talking about how she used one of these and would never paint without one again. I looked your product up on YouTube and then promptly bought one. Let me say, if I had to buy one of these for every room in a house I would do so and consider it money well spent! I'll never paint without one again.

I painted my entire 40 X 60 shop on plywood with this roller and it worked like a champ! Anyone that says these rollers dont work obviously dont know how to paint. One person below said something about using more paint to paint a room than with a regular roller - NOT POSSIBLE unless you used a different paint on a different surface! This roller is KING!!

This roller is really save my life it was easy to assemble and easy to use and no mess

This tool was great! Yes, it can be a bit heavy, mainly because you get about a quart of paint in the stick to put on the walls, but then you don't have to go back to the paint can. We didn't have to use a paint tray at all, either. One recommendation - have everything cut-in before you start using the roller. Because you will not want to stop rolling with this tool and pick up a brush, it is just so efficient. I've told my neighbors about the product and I keep asking myself, why didn't we find this sooner for our at home painting projects. Definitely worth the $25. Follow the instructions and keep the ALL gaskets coated with petroleum jelly and it should last until our next project. Not so much a negative on the product, but the clean-up is a bit more than a standard roller. However, I was more than happy to clean it well, so it is ready for the next use. As I mentioned, it can be heavy with a full tube filled and a challenge to use in a narrow hallway, but that is not the tools fault, just a reality of painting at times. You quickly learn how to move through your space and when to use it long versus short. I started at the top of the walls when the stick was long and worked my way down as the plunger moves up into the stick. And if you are on a ladder, definitely beats getting up and down to re-roll from a paint tray.

I have had this unit for years with no issues. This product works great if you take care of it. Must clean throughly when done. I use a light coat of Vaseline on the seals before use for lubricant and make a better seal. I had this unit for around 10 years and painted multiple homes and rooms with this unit without needing to replace a seal.

I bought this a month ago but barely able to use it. It was much more difficult to use than a traditional roller. Also, it used more paint than my traditional roller. I used 3/4 can of paint on half of the bedroom when it only took one can of paint for the master bedroom and restroom. Unfortunately I can’t even return it.

I purchased this primarily to paint the walls with an 18' ceiling. The benefit of not having to climb a ladder with a roller tray was offset by the long paint tube which kept hitting the ladder. This was not a problem obviously when working on the ground without the ladder. It worked very well then.

I had one of these years ago. Why did I buy another? Use a regular paint roller on a pole; it works much better and weighs less than this thing. Worst of all are the uneven results. The texture is very inconsistent and it's not easy to get even coverage. Did my living room ceiling with this thing and was left with such a splotchy finish, four coats using a regular roller won't fix it. My other ceilings and walls using a regular roller are beautiful. While there is some advantage of not having to constantly dip into a roller pan for paint, the clean up of this painter after use is excessive and makes it not worth the bother.

I have owned and used several of these and I will not paint a room without one. The ONLY problem I have is I keep loosing parts after cleaning them.

It was easy to clean up but have to go back and forth to get the paint was a Hassle.

I got one use out of it and even using it sucked. The place where the roller sits onto the paint holder snapped off.

Attachment for the tube filler and the paint can is very flimsy. Potential could be a good piece of equipment if it was easier to reload which would allow you to move quicker.

Get one! The tube handle is solid unlike the flimsy wood or fiberglass sticks on a typical roller handle. The newer models that have a one piece roller head aren't as good as the old original but it still beats repainting the same roller pan over and over and over and....

It is tremendous not returning to a tray. Approximately every 10 sq ft return to paint can to fill the stick. I have bought six in the last 10 years.

good product, but Home depot does not sell 9inch replacment covers for this system. Do not buy if you have more work to do than one cover can handle.

saves SO much time. no drips, at least twice the speed (not including fixing drips and runs and doing floor coverings). i had one that i used a lot in my old house (i moved and got rid of a lot of stuff). now my ex is painting her multi-family house and needs to paint a lot. i am trying to get another of these. for all of you that complain that the roller pops off, seriously(?!), bend the tab down that holds the roller on there. no one can make something idiot proof (so, please, idiots) question yourself not the product. jeeze.

Doesn't work, the paint just squirts out of the intake nozzle instead of going to the roller. Made a mess everywhere and was completely useless.
