Fan is powerful and cools sufficiently. I run my AC less or on a lower temperature. It saves me money on my electric bill.

fan was noiser than I was led to believe, I have another model vornado that is quiet. also did not like the on switch 2 button feature, when you turned the fan on it always went to the highest speed (noisiest) and then you had to select the desired setting

So a little on the expensive side but well worth the money. I have a few Vornado's and love them all but this one is my favorite. I have it up against a window to draw in the outside cooler air and it has saved me from having to turn on my AC. It is in a bedroom and very quiet compared to other fans I have had. I look the look of the fan. It does a great job and looks good too. Highly recommend

This works great and it keeps the room cool at pet level. It is more powerful than i expected.

This fan is both powerful and relatively quiet; however, the support legs are a bit small and this inhibits the overall stability of the fan when placed in certain spots. Please consider making the support legs a tad longer.

I feel air circulation is essential to feeling comfortable in a room, especially in a bedroom. I find that the 270 large Panel Circulating Fan provides greater flexibility compared to a permanent ceiling fan.

I use this fan in the living room because the ceiling is high and it works really good. Purchased a smaller one for the master bedroom.

My New AC System Was installed and not the proper size for my house. In April when the heat first hit 90 degrees the new central AC would no cool then the outside temp hit 90 degrees. I suffered a heat stroke and was sent to the hospital. These fans provided wonderful air circulation for my dog an myself until the PLANO AC dealer replaced the system with the larger proper size. I have probably sold at least one dozen of the fans to my neighbors. Best fans I have ever purchased and they have saved my life and my Pugs life.

This is the first fan I bought from this company. It opened my eyes to how a fan should work. With a little trial and error you can figure out quickly how to get this fan to circulate air in the whole room. It works especially well in more rectangular shaped rooms. I now a total of three vornado fans. My only complaint with this fan and the vornado tower fan I also own is the beep that is emitted with every press of a button. In my opinion the beep itself is louder than the fan at the highest setting. I can clearly hear the fan's setting being change anywhere in the house. So if you are a control freak and want to know when someone is messing with your fan, then I guess you'll like the beep. But it would be nice for me to adjust the fan settings while my 7 month old is sleeping without the 120 decibel beep waking her up. Please... Remove the unnecessary beep from the control panel. Luckily the third Vornado fan I bought has a nob on the back.. No beep, just the whirring of the blades and the rush of air being propelled.

Was looking for a design that would fit in our windows, PERFECT!!! I am noise sensitive and concerned to whether this was really going to perform as advertised, WOW! Yes, YES!!! So far we have only needed to use the medium or low settings. The air in our cathedral ceiling living space is moved perfectly to cool down the space. The one in our upstairs bedroom ends up moving the air throughout the rest of the upstairs even. Very pleased with purchase, enough so that we are going to purchase the medium size for the kitchen space. Thank you for your commitment to quality and value!

This is the fan I use alongside my Heavy Duty 293 in the bedroom particularly during the simmering summer months. Quite useful I must say to soothe hot flashes whenever my girlfriend is going through her monthly phase. I love it and I highly recommend it.

I purchased the circular fan and the flat fan online. The circular fan seemed quieter than the flat fan. I returned the flat fan and purchased another circular fan.

We have owned this air circulator for several years now and it has held up well. However, the fan has become noisy after we cleaned last year. The circulator could use one more speed setting, and a remote would be a nice touch. Otherwise, this is a good air circulator for the money.
