I like the smaller size of the HappyLight Compact! It fits wherever I want to sit and can move it around my apartment easily. I like how it stands up on its own. My only negative is I wish the cord was longer and the bulbs weren't as expensive to replace. Mine fell over onto the carpet and the lightbulb broke and it's rather expensive to get a new one.

I like compact size. It adds the important light frequency that we are missing in Northern Latitudes in Winter. Verilux stands behind their products and is nice to deal with.

Bought this because my apartment has very poor natural lighting and it has worked great to wake me up in the morning feeling actually awake and refreshed. This really helps me feel like it’s morning when it’s so dark in the room. Also has helped a lot on days that I wake up at night because of my weird sleep schedule, makes my day more balanced.

This has been a wonderful gift for my grandmother who lives alone, and needs a little extra light on her her life these days.

The size is perfect for transporting with me to different rooms and the light concept itself give me energy on those dark, short Michigan days.

This is a small light perfect for a desk or nightstand. Gives off just the right light to help with SDD. My daughters have one in their room and I have one in my office.

I bought this product to replace my old Happy Light, which was WAY bigger. I wasn't sure if this product would work as well since it is so much smaller, but it is perfect! I love the size and the ability to change the setting. I definitely feel as though the happy light helps me with seasonal depression and I think it helps me with my focus as well. I use this year round for it's benefits, not just in the winter months.

Love this thing. I use mine first thing in the morning when starting work, and at the end of the day when I don’t have the energy to workout, as it is typically dark out when I knock off work.

I turn this on while I’m doing focused tasks like the dishes and work. I like that it is a bright light and makes my space shine white.

This is my third Verilux lamp. This latest is a stand lamp, which is excellent to awaken in the morning. Another one is used on the desk to ward off winter blues.

The light is quick to assemble and very bright. It is small enough to have on my desk so I can have it turned on for several minutes while I start work in the morning. I don’t notice a difference yet but I’m going to continue every morning.

Great light. Very sturdy (I had problems with another brand falling over) and provides ample light at the therapeutic value. Great for SAD, winter blues or a midday energy boost.

I Needed a pick me up and this helped keep a smile on my face in overcast Delaware.

I use this light to help me with my delayed sleep-phase disorder. While it's not magic - it requires other interventions such as no screen time before bed and while I do get to sleep earlier it's not necessarily as early as I'd like, it has proven effective for me. This is also much cheaper than many other lights that serve the same purpose while still having the needed brightness and full color spectrum.

It was a little bit difficult first to set up and get the light to turn on (I read the troubleshooting guide included), but once turned on, it works great! I love this size and shape.

I purchased my 1st happy light over 15 years ago for my husband for his seasonal affective disorder. It was funny when my tween would say after the winter solstice, "I think it's time to get the happy light out". Now that my 3 children are all young adults and with covid I bought each one of them a smaller version and they all use it daily. I also purchased one for a friend who struggles in the winter. During these crazy times we can all use some extra help to make it through.
