I received my Happy Light quickly. It was packaged very well and has instructions on its use. So far, I am very happy with my purchase. I followed the instructions, and I am now using it for 30 min a day. I would highly recommend this Happy light as it really does help me with SAD.

Small enough to not get in the way in a small apartment but powerful enough to instantly improve my mood. I’ve accidentally moved into a north facing apartment with low natural light and this lamp is honestly a saving grace- an absolute essential until my lease runs out! If you’re on the fence I promise you won’t regret buying this light.

I absolutely love this light! I use it everyday to put my makeup on. It makes a world of difference in my energy level and my attitude. We recently moved from Colorado to the east coast, talk about a huge change in sunlight exposure. This light has saved me! No winter blues for this girl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been loving the verilux happy light in our home. Right now with this climate changed it gets dark pretty fast, by the time my kids are done with virtual school the sun is usually gone. This light has been helping with their mood change. Not only the mood change but it’s a great light for reading or just to have on while doing zoom classes. One thing that I loved is that it doesn’t get the room super hot compared to other lights. This one just works wonders. Super happy with the happy light.

Winter can be dreary in the Pacific Northwest, all winter long. Sure is nice to know I can get my shot of light in the morning and feel better all day. In addition, the medication I take makes me photo sensitive but the Happy Light does.not affect that! Love it!

Bigger than I wanted. But the biggest problem is that it has a buzzing sound that is really irritating

How can Verilux continue to sell HappyLights that take the CFS26GU24VLX when they no longer sell replacement bulbs for this item? I'm told they are not just "out of stock temporarily." They have no idea at all when or if they will sell these bulbs again. For shame, Verilux. Don't buy this lamp, unless you plan to throw it in the trash when the bulb burns out.

Excellent…been using everyday for a few weeks in winter and I think it’s already making a huge difference on my mental health…Time Will tell, May be too early to know but overall like the product!

Just love this lamp. Most of the HappyLight benefits in a low-cost package. This is a FLUORESCENT - not LED - model, and it takes maybe 15 seconds for the bulb to warm up fully. There's no timer, and you can't adjust the color temperature. But who cares -- the quality and intensity of the light are no different than the pricier, slimmer LED models. It's lightweight, sturdy and no less portable than the LED units.

I could not wait to get my Happy light & it HAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! I've spent 13 years with undiagnosed fibromyalgia, (finally diagnosed a year ago) post breast cancer/silicone implants. Living with brutal fatigue, pain throughout my body, brain fog, etc. I began taking low dose naltrexone for 10 months for it & have felt huge relief. My happy light takes care of the rest & gives me energy, no fibro pain & can think more clearly. It helps me sleep more soundly. I will not ever be without a happy light...it is a pure blessing in my life!

I bought the VT10 compact happy light & within a few months the bulb burnt out. Unfortunately the replacements I have ordered don’t fit my compact. It’s a shame as otherwise it’s great!

My last lamp lasted about 15 years. This light is perfect for these dark days of winter.

This was a gift for a gentleman who suffers from PTSD and Seasonal Affective Disorder. He received it about 10 days ago, and he said it is helping him already. He's diligent about utilizing it 3 times a day for less than 30 minutes.

Love the brightness, but didn't expect that it would be a CFL bulb. I prefer the flat surface HappyLight. Please make this product description more obvious to indicate that it's a CFL bulb.

I have used this and feel it helps to brighten up the wintertime darkness. In addition, the customer service is responsive and helpful. This particular model may not have replacement bulbs available from the manufacturer, but both the bulb and the unit last a few years.

This is a great item for those who have little to no windows in their room. Working from home it is important that I get enough sunlight to stay motivated and focused, However, my room has one widow that does not receive sunlight. This happy light has helped me focus and increase my mood, mental health, and work ethic.

When you wake up, you want to get a big hit of cortisol to carry you through your day. Cortisol is triggered by light. Well, sunlight isn’t available at 5 in the morning when I go to work. You can literally feel the sleepiness fade and the alertness take its place. I look at the brightness and move my eyes to different positions to allow the light to “coat” my eyes. Might sound strange but it works. During the day you can have a “Light Snack”. Note: (It does not make up for lost sleep)

I really believe in having this on at my desk. It is bright but the comfort lens really makes it enjoyable and great for any office setting.

This new, improved HappyLight replaces one of the original HappyLights I had from about 20 years ago. I love it! I especially like the size.

I am glad I invested in this full size Happy Light. This summer it has been mostly raining and in the winter theres hardly any sun so I finally decided to buy one. Shipping was prompt and box arrived without damage and the product was new. Do be aware that the light surface will be hot quickly so be sure to unplug or turn off when not in use. I was impressed with how bright it is so I don't keep my face as close as the directions say to. I experience chronic fatigue, especially after work so I try to use it after work. Its too early to know if its helping but I am glad I have it.

I bought this in July 2022 and it is still as bright as it was when I bought it. It really works. After a few minutes of exposure in the morning, I can feel the sleepiness subside and eventually I feel wide awake. I'm even thinking about buying the portable one as well.

I had one of the original lights and it went out so I ordered this one. I love them. I do not work a day with out one. Wish you had a deal if you buy more than one at a time. Then I would have one at home too. Thanks again, Angie

I bought this Happy Light from a recommendation from my therapist about 6-7 years ago and I definitely recommend this Happy Light. It really helps my mood during the winter, gloomy, or raining days. My close family can tell when I haven't used my light, LOL, Shameful. I dropped my light and broke the bulb and I immediately ordered another one. Had I now accidentally dropped my light, I don't know when I would have to change the battery. After 6-7 years wonderful!! BTW, I also have a light on my desk at work as well. If I don't, somebody is in trouble. LOL

This is a great light for someone who works in an office without any natural light. Winter is long and dreary, and I bought this light with the hope of lessening the winter "blues", and it is helping!! The company is also very helpful, and they are friendly and supportive!
