It’s high quality and easily installed.

I have been requested on several occasions to rate this skylight. While I am hoping that it will be great, it did come with one small dent and I had to order it twice in order to finally receive my order. Also, I have not yet been able to have it installed. Therefore, I can not yet rate how it will work for my application. This is not an order that you receive, plug in and go, it does take someone with knowledge of roofing to install and that doesn't happen over night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They do look nice. The movement is a little slow during venting. I am impressed with how quiet they are. I am not a big fan of the remote(s), and the other options available.

Bought this to replace a 26 year old Velux skylight that had foggy glass. Couldn't find anyone that would just replace the glass for less than $750. Had to modify the outside of the curb since this one is 3" longer and wider. Saved $500.

Great product, room darkening shades are great as well as the remote solar blind remote.

The sky lights were beautiful and heavy , making them seal great on the roof opening curb. Their dual Pane glass lets all the light in I needed plus insulated for cold and warmth

Bought these for my beach house. Best change have ever made! The light and Control are awesome. I need to purchase a controller, but works well enough and is easy to use. The rain sensor kicks butt too!

I replaced two 1939 curb-mounted skylights in a San Francisco art deco home in the bathroom and kitchen. The experience was transformative. No more steel bars and glass-embedded chicken wire to look at.

I just purchased a home that has 8 solar Velux Skylights. Each Skylight has a shade in it, which is run on a separate remote. Beyond that, I have a lock and sensor switch. There are 18 battery operated devices to manage. This is just stupid. The second issue is the Gateway. Stay away form this option to consolidate the remotes. It only operates on a 2.4 ghz network. If you have a modern WiFi mesh network, it will never work. If I were making the decision on these skylights, I would have walked away from this company because of these issues. The technology is not future proofed and I wouldn't want 18 remotes to eventually misplace on my house. Sure, if i needed one skylight this would be fine. But not for my setup.

Just had a solar-powered skylight to replace an existing (30+ year-old) Velux hand operated unit. The new unit is a delight! Since its more convenient to operate, we will probably use it more often than the hand operated unit. Looking forward to many well-ventilated days in the future. Operation is simple and our installer was great.

The Velux is a premium skylight that was easy to install with the separate flashing kit. I was able to remove and replace my existing skylight in about an hour. The insulated clear glass is amazing! I’d definitely recommend this as an upgrade.

When cranking the window open or closing the window shifts suddenly and abruptly about a half inch. Otherwise all three that I have are great.

We had our old bubble skylight replaced with a Velux skylight. The old one had been damaged by hail. We were amazed at how quickly the replacement went and how clear and clean the new skylight looks.

It was exactly what I needed. Worked great, included nice hardware for the install.
