This is the second clock I received that does not work properly. The first was returned because the chime did not work and there was a broken piece in the back with all the wires hanging. the second clock the chime does still not work and also the minute hand kept getting stuck after the chime stopped and the glass on the face of the clock cracked as I was trying to put the batteries in. very disappointed with this product. I am returning this back to the store for another refund.

Not very happy with this clock cant get clock to chime,would not recommend purchasing one.

Sounds a bit too electronic, could use better tone shaping circuitry and a bit larger speaker. This would require a larger footprint and add to the cost though. Overall it satisfies our needs.

Everything was not as written size, material, cheap plastic is faux wood, just not worth the money. This is a buyer beware clock.

The Clock is everything I expected.Keeps excellent time and the pendulum and chime work great. You can't beat it for the money.

Setting the chimes to coordinate with the correct hours was difficult. The clock workings are loud. When the room is quiet (no television on), there is a constant grinding sound coming from the clock's works.

I like the product, the outward appearance and construction is very appealing. This is why I decided to keep the product. According to the product description it is programed with a Sleep Feature and will not chime between the hours of 7(pm) to 5(am). This Item chimes multiple times within the before mentioned time frame. I followed the directions repeatedly and flawlessly and still no change. Anyway I didn't purchase this item for the chime feature but rather for its ability to keep accurate time and for the record it keeps good time!

Looks much better than some clocks we have owned that cost hundreds of dollars.

I bought this for our elderly parents as their schoolhouse clock had finally died. Everything is plastic, but from a short distance gives the appearance of wood and metal. The clock has a swinging pendulum and chimes on the hour. We decided that the chiming was a bit much, so we did not insert the batteries in that area. I would have returned the clock if we could not have silenced the chimes. Their old clock's pendulum did not swing, so they really enjoy watching this one. The numbers are large enough for them to read from across the room. All in all, they are very pleased with their new clock.

The clock keeps good time but, the pendulum that swings from side to side always hits the inside walls of the clock and make too much noise.

This clock was damaged when I received it. The second had was dislodged and lying at bottom of clock face. I went ahead and put batteries in and the clock did run and would chime and strike on the hour but would only strike six no matter what the hour was. The clock appearance is good, the chime and strike sounds are very nice sounding. I have returned the clock but think I may have just gotten hold of a defective unit so I am going to re-order and hope the replacement works well.

The clock arrived at the store where I picked it up, so I didn't have to pay for shipping. It is beautiful and looks great in my new kitchen. It chimes on the hour, but is not too loud. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a classy looking clock.

i bought this since one of my clocks died and i wanted another that chimed. well. . . it looks very nice, it feels cheap, but my biggest disappointment is the fact that after it chimes at the hour there are no chimes of the hour. you know - gong, gong, gong. to me chiming includes that. but otherwise i am pleased - it really does look quite nice.

I bought this clock thinking it was a good piece for the money and took it home to realize it is cheaply made and does not keep time. Not worth my time returning it to the manufacturer.

I wished that it chimed the hour. It just chimes on the quarter hour.

Love this clock. For some reason, I was expecting it to be a little bigger, but I like the size. The hourly chime is melodious. The clock takes 4 battery, one for the clock, one for the pendulum and two for the chime. This way you can control whether you want the pendulum or the chime to run. Every body who has seen the Wall Clock at my house has complimented the clock. I will recommend it.

Just the clock I was looking for. It looks great on my wall and is functioning great.

I need s clock that chimes evrry hour snd it does just that. My mom is visionly impared nd she wanted a clock that chimed every hour. After driving around checking different stores no one had them. I look on jome depot web and thete it was snd it wasnt expensive at all.

Clock was a terrific value for the money. Looks and sounds good.
