A:  Four AA batteries. Two for the chime box and two for the pendulum motor. They go in the back of the clock.

A:  Good Morning, The only way to disable the chime is to remove the batteries. please keep in mind that you will need to reprogram the clock chime every time you remove the batteries.

A:  Only chimes between 7am and 9 pm

A:  The clock's sleep function is connected to time rather than room darkness. The clock chimes in the dark, but does not chime between 11 PM and 6 AM.

A:  Yes, I bought it for 4weeks, It was a bad experience. Because it’s ring night time too.

A:  It seems to chime until 11 PM and then starts up again around 6 AM. Doesn't matter if it's dark or not.

A:  clock does not chime between the hours of 10pm-5am

A:  Good Afternoon, the only way to stop the chime is to take the batteries out.

A:  No, we remove the chime batteries (which is different than the clock batteries, so the clock will still keep time) every night, so that it doesn’t wake us up.

A:  It requires a separate battery and be sure to install correctly. Also be sure it’s unlocked.

A:  please make sure that you are using new batteries. does the pendulum work when it is off of the wall? clock must be exactly vertical when put on the wall. if pendulum does not work off of the wall then the product would need to be returned to where it was purchase.

A:  The clock must be level for the pendulum to work and I found that I needed to use a "better brand" battery to make it move smoothly. If the pendulum will move when you push it manually, it should be connected correctly. If it does not, you may need to be sure the pendulum is connected to the plastic hinge in the back.

A:  Less then a pound. Love the clock. It looks nice and keeps good time.
