The windows have been installed in a swimming pool enclosure for about one month. So far no issues. Had the windows installed by professional carpenter so ease of installation was a guess.

The windows were used for a sunroom and after basic framing the fit was perfect. Makes the area a great year round area

This is a high quality window. The perfect choice for my project (lawn equipment storage building). Window is light weight but very well constructed. I highly recommend this window for its style and functionality.

I ordered these windows on line. They were delivered without any damage which is always a relief. The windows were packaged with great thought to avoid damage to include the glass panels that need to be installed. The windows are very easy to install and look great. A plus of the design is upper & lower halves of the windows. You can choose what type of ventilation you prefer or use both. Nice.

I installed into a large Plexiglas window to get some air in.

be warned you will fail a florida building inspection useing these windows-and--you will not get a permit for these windows-all replacement windows , in mobile homes or normal homes, must conform to florida building code.

The window was what I was looking for, I replaced an old vent with the window so I could open in the summer and let the heat out without the worry of rain coming in during a storm and keeping the birds and bugs out and in the winter close it to help keep the heat in.

The instruction paper that comes with the window talks about a storm sash for the colder months but none was included and I could not find anywhere about where I can purchase a storm sash.

received in good condition - box was torn but window was not damaged fairly easy to install - some basic instructions would have been helpful especially when installing the individual glass slats into the frame

The window unit comes unassembled, with the glass slats wrapped separately front the frame. In spite of lots of bubble wrap, the frame was completely bent. The box was damaged. HomeDepot took my return at the store and refunded my card. Now have to reorder and put that project on hold a few weeks.

Easy to put together & install. Arrived quicker than expected & in perfect condition.

It needs some extra framing to install properly, but after that it installs easily and works great. I bought one and installed it then I bought another one because the first one worked so well.

They are difficult to get to work correctly. Getting tham all the way closed is dang near impossible. I even tried using lubricants on the rubber. The screens are attached with tec screws, once screen is removed a couple of times the holes are shot. The glass is difficult to install, plan on some breakage.

12x24 good size for small window, could install between studs in existing wall. shouldve come with instructions but it was pretty easy to put it in

this window was perfect just to add more air and light to my tiny attic. i love that i can leave them open even in the rain, and nothing gets in. I couldn't be happier with the size or quality.

Project required a jalousie window with privacy glass. Home Depot Internet site did not reflect type of glass in the Tafco JALW2436 advertised. Contacted Home Depot Customer Serv and was informed jalousie window came with clear glass, but window could be special ordered with privacy glass. Inquired as to ability to purchase privacy glass panels to replace clear glass for the JALW2436. Internet store offered saving due to free shipping and discount price of window, which did not apply to special orders. I was put in phone contact with Tafco, who, after being informed my situation, upgraded window glass, without charge, to privacy glass. Great customer service. Quality product noted when window received. Highly recommend American made Tafco windows.

We're building a concession trailer and needed windows for it. These are going to work wonderfully for our needs!

I purchased these for my mother's home. She loves that she can roll the windows out and leave them open even if it is raining. We are disappointed in the quality. The pre-drilled holes in the screens do not match up with the window. Two of the four window screens were missing the rubber and were not attached. We called and asked for just the screens. They came in a couple of days, but had the same issues. We made them work.

like it, however, the crank that opens and closes the windows....all the holes were not lined up right with the crank piece so we had to make our own holes.... same with screen. but once that was done...its really nice....the glass is frosted which gives privacy...you can't find these anywhere. doors yes, but not windows.

Good window but actual size rough opening is 34" wide x 35" tall not 36" x 36".

I used this to replace an attic window so it would double as a gable vent. Low profile trim, with the clean-looking glass being what you notice from outside. The only drawback is that the screen material is a little bit loose and I question its durability. The window appears very durable, though. I would not use for heavily heated or air-condioned spaces.

What an amazing experience. I was hesitant to order these windows on-line: not sure if product would be shipped to Hawaii; what condition would it be when/if it got here; returning them if I did not like it, etc. But as it turned out, it got here within 5 working days. It was very well packed (no damages) and it was delivered right to my home. Awesome! Installing the windows was simple enough, although it did not come with any instructions. It seems to function well and I hope it's durable enough to withstand the climate (the salt air here seems to really deteriorate the operational hardware of most of the windows. But for the price and reasonable shipping fee, it does seem to be quite the bargain.
