Basic installation: The kit comes with 7 pieces (2 corners, 3 walls and 2 pieces that match the curve of the tub to go down towards the floor) each with sticky strips on them. Silicone adhesive is included to put on the pieces before installation. I agree with the other reviewers that it is a nice looking surround. Installation is another thing. Our walls are not completely square and do not conform exactly to the surround pieces. As a result, the corners/edges did not want to stick so I needed to put more adhesive (in addition what was provided) to the corners and brace them to get the corners to adhere properly. Once the pieces are placed on the wall they want to stay. If the pieces aren't straight and are pulled off to adjust, which we had to, the sticky strips loose their stickiness and don't want to adhere as well. This was why I needed to put the braces in. What put me over the edge of 3 stars into 2 stars was that our tub was within the dimensions listed however we could not use the 2 pieces that match the curve of the tub because the front and rear walls pieces would not come out far enough to be flush with the 2 curved pieces. Now I need to go get some bull-nose tile that matches our floor and put up the sides since those areas are within the splash zone of the tub/shower. My case may be different than others but I'm frustrated because I wanted to bathroom done before Christmas but I'm only now getting around to caulking because I had to leave the braces up for a day or so for the top, middle and bottom of the front and rear walls. If you are doing a minor remodel and have a budget to meet, these may fit the bill but beware the installation could be dicey. If you are doing new construction or a full remodel (down to the studs) get the shower walls that are attached to the studs with screws. I have pictures of the braces but don't have the right cable to hook my phone up. Will try to add photos later. On a side note, I had difficulty purchasing these online and the person I spoke with on the phone was great.

took nearly 3 weeks to have delivered. When I finally received, it didn't come with installation instructions. Unit is simply PVC like material. $500 ? Really? Anyway, finally got it installed, looks ok but definately wouldn't buy again. Keep looking.

This product is way better than what I had expected. It is very thick and does not look cheap at all. I am very happy with the look, and it is very easy to clean.

I was worried about the cost but is well worth it. Nice thick material and comes with the adhesive and caulking you need. The side panels were a nice bonus that makes the whole thing come together with the new tub. I wished I could find the specs on the thickness for planning purposes but had to wait for its arrival. With the lip it is just under 1/2 ' thick. It was the easiest part of the whole bathroom to put in. Must be careful to line up before touch it to the wall as the sticky tape will not let go once it grabs. The shelves feel sturdy and there is lots of shelving space. I ordered it online from Home depot with free shipping and it came a few days before the scheduled date.

I have had this in my childrens bathroom for the last 9 years and it is great!! It is so easy to clean, stays clean, never have had any mildew or scratches even!! It looks wonderful with the textured "tile" look!

I just finished installing the shower and it looks great once you finish cualking it. when look at the corners the first time they might look wierd but they grow on you.I wouldn't say it was easy to install beacause it took 4 days until I got around putting the walls in. taking the old tile down and put up the new sheet rock and piping were hard so we wouldn't have any gaps or leaking, but when Iput the tile up it was pretty easy except you might need to mark exactly where you put it to make it fit perfectly and you might need some help to to get both sides in. The only problem is if the piping need some repair you have to tear down the whole walll or get in through the other side. other than that it looks awesome and I could tell people that I put it in.
