Item description was not as it appeared. The height of this product (the thickness you need to take into account when creating your door opening) is actually only about 1/4". The description had said it was 1.5", so after building my wall and waiting for this item to be shipped to me, I had built an opening that was far too tall. It was difficult to fill that void with shims and insulation and still make something that was strong. On top of that, this product was about 1.5" wider than the bottom of my patio door frame, which is a standard patio door. I was ultimately unable to use this product. In the future, I would simply make my own out of metal flashing or the like.

Sill pan was a time saver and worked great

Easy to install.

Works as advertised.

The floor pan was simple to install, even as a retrofit. While it needed trimmed a little, it should be pretty effective. The header flashing, however, did not work out very well in the retrofit as there was no space to install the end caps. Directions were difficult to read, could use some work to make more useful.

Not a good product. Had to remove 8 exterior door units to remove these pans and replace with a better one.

Easy to install. Saved expensive exterior French doors.

Missing parts from the complete pack

Nothing else compares. A few $ spent up front can save so many $ later. A no brainer, especially for below grade or weather exposed doors/windows.

After waiting a week for it. It had two cracks in it.

The sill cracked when I put just a small amount of pressure on it to put it in place. Other than that, it was easy to install.

The Sure Sill Pan is a great product for new construction or a retro if you have enough height to your opening. If you have a tight fit to begin with then the slope of the pan causes the door to be too high to fit in the opening as was the case in this particular retro. Otherwise 5 stars.

Great product, well worth the money

Fit great. Easy to install. My door is close to ground level and snow was getting under and water was getting in. Now the plastic sill pan will stop that.

Quick and easy installation

First time using a PVC sill pan. Not sure I'd use again for retrofit patio doors. It adds undesired thickness. The doors now sit higher in the rough opening than wanted. Also, the off centered seam creates an unwanted pivot point for the base which requires shimming the bottom.

Perfect fit . great product. Weather tight.

The first shipment was half the length needed and I had to drive 90-miles to return the order to a Home Depot store for shipping back and reordering. This caused a delay in completing work. Home Depot did a great job swapping out. The mistake was at Suresill which they corrected.

the sill worked great for the door I set. I used it for a 2 x 4 framed opening. figuring 1/2" drywall inside and 1/2" exterior shear the sill fit my opening and worked great. I would recommend this product. I also have used there 6 9/16 and the 11th inch sill
