Rivet tool was not able to form stainless steel rivets of 3/16" diameter though that is the size adapter that it comes installed with. Two were stuck in the tool before I quit. I have used more quality pop rivet tools in the past without issue.

Easy to use

For the price it is a bargain

My friend went to put a rivet in and attempted to use the gun. LOL, the rivet got stuck! We went through a LOT of trouble trying to get the stuck rivet out! So my friend took apart the gun and the (teeth) so to speak that holds the rivet was put in backwards by the manufacturer! When my friend corrected this issue, the gun worked fine. Hope no one else goes through this! Advise your manufacture of this major malfunction!

great tool for use on home and auto repairs

For the occasional use I need, this tool was right on. The protruding port for the rivet made application convenient and possible sites varied. When you need it - the Stanley Medium Duty Riveted can do the job.

The tool set 4 or 5 rivets, then locked up on the next rivet and won't let it go. I've contacted customer support. Let's see how they do!! :-)

This was the right size tool for the work I needed it to perform.

The gun worked like I expected! I like that I can use it with different size rivets.

Stems jam frequently and can't be removed without taking the tool apart, which is not simple. Started after doing 6 rivets. Tried the disassembly process 5 times, so I could finish the project, then the tool went in the trash.

It's a great tool for the price and the only problem I've had with it has been from user error.

I have only used it a few times but works good wish I would have bought one a long time ago

Overall, just what I needed for my project. It was a little rough to start.

The rivet stems don't come out easily, especially 1/8" diameter rivets. I've had to bang the thing on the bench to get them out. The larger, 1/8" rivets are also very hard to pop. Maybe that's true of other rivet setters, too? I don't know. This is the only one I've ever used. I can't imagine all rivet setters are this temperamental. It was the only type of setter in the store when I was there. I can see now why the other brands were sold out, and all that was left were two of these that looked like they had been returned.

Works great! Only wish it had a case to hold the wench.

It does not eject the shaft of the rivet from the tool! Was able to use it ONE time. Now the shaft of the rivet is stuck in the gun and cannot be taken out even with players. As per other reviews, getting returned.
