Definitely foams into the hole and kills on contact. (Poor little guys, I just couldn't have them continue to build a nest through a small hole in our bay window wall and find their way into our house!)

Does a good job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a can of this to try out and review. It was used outside and it did a great job ridding us of pests such as wasps. No problem with the wasps returning so far. Spray nozzle did not clog. No leaks.

This works great for exterminating yellowjackets. I had to buy two cans to get rid of most of the yellowjackets and then set up a Yellowjacket trap to catch the remaining workers.

The foam spray was effective at eliminating a Yellow Jacket nest. The Yellow Jacket nest was located under a shrub next to a deck, making access difficult. However, after two nighttime spraying efforts, the nest was eliminated. No stings during treatment with a careful approach and extra clothing worn. The dog was the only one that got stung, but that was before treatment and alerted us to the presence of the nest in the first place. Dog was fine, but the sting was clearly painful.

I shook as directed and some foam came out and then quickly turned to a liquid. Didn’t work as expected.

Did Not work. Bees flew away and came back next day.
Sprayed all around area where the water faucet is and, still did not work.

Treat active tunnels where carpenter bee activity has been observed. Leave the entrance hole open for 48 hours after application to allow the bees to contact and distribute the insecticide throughout the nest galleries. Then plug the entrance hole with a piece of wooden dowel coated with carpenter’s glue or wood putty. Plugging the hole will prevent reinfestation of old nesting tunnels and reduce the chances of wood decay.We're sorry to hear that the product didn't provide the expected results. Used this spray to get rid of a huge Yellowjacket nest in my dog lot. Did an excellent job. Was able to get the spray right into their hole without getting stung.

Nice straw which allowed for directed spray to the nest. One bottle was not enough but the spray shot far and long to keep me far enough from the next to not get stung.
