Totally Ineffective!
I've been using the Spectracide Carpenter Bee foam for two days and it's had no effect. The bees continue to go into the holes that have been sprayed. I've even sprayed the bees directly and Nothing! I don't recommend this product and the bees don't seem to be bothered by it either!

This bee foam killer is the only one I have found that fills up the space and kills the bees on contact.

Leave the entrance hole open for 48 hours after application to allow the bees to contact and distribute the insecticide throughout the nest galleries. Then plug the entrance hole with a piece of wooden dowel coated with carpenter’s glue or wood putty. Plugging the hole will prevent reinfestation of old nesting tunnels and reduce the chances of wood decay. The satisfaction of our consumers is very important to us.
