Good distance. Used tube to spray into carpenter bee holes. Did the job. Found over 20 holes in the deck. Time to fill n fix. I would like the ability to mist spray as well. Otherwise good luck spraying a bee mid air.

Used this in my walkway where bees were digging holes under slate needed two cans, took 2 -3 days but they are gone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Wasp and Hornet spray from Spectracide is really effective killing wasps. It is easy to use and acts fast. The potency of the spray is amazing, you can reach wasp flying up to 27 feet away. This is really an insect spray to keep in handy for spring and summer time where there’s so many wasps and hornets around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasps like to make homes in the corners of the windows on the upper level of my home where they are protected from the elements. I do not like that location because it is right above the front door entrance to my home where they create a nuisance. I love this product has a jet spray that reaches up to 27 feet. That is perfect because it reached the second store eave where they were housed with ease without the need to drag out a ladder. I also appreciate the non-staining formula since my primary purpose was to use the product around my home siding. By the next day I saw no noticeable evidence of wasps swarming around the nest. Since I am not easily able to get up so high to remove the actual nest, I also like that this product continues to kill insects who return to the nest over the next few days. I have also used this product successfully to discourage the carpenter bees who burrow into my wood decking. I only wish this product contained a more targeted and controlled sprayer head. The can sprayer splattered and saturated the entire area around the nests also.

I had a 4" diameter yellow jacket nest built in the mulch under a small bush. Once I discovered where the nest was located I sprayed it with this product and it killed the yellow jackets. My biggest problem was that I disturbed the nest when I located it and I did not wait long enough to spray it, so I had to spray it twice. If you have a nest spray at night when the nest is fully occupied.

I used a bug zapper light/lamp and placed it at the entrance of the ground yellow jacket nest around 8pm (this takes care of the nest guards) then took the lamp out to apply the Specticide around 10:30pm at night using the red straw right at the entrance of nest and let her rip. In the early morning, i applied the rest of the spray can just to be sure and there were no more yellow jackets in the after noon, they are all gone so i closed the hole and called it a successful job. Poor bees, but we have children constantly around that area (front corner of the house) and we cant risk the children get stung by them yellow jackets.

Carpenter bees are going through a gap between the vinyl siding... I sprayed this product between the gap but I still see bees hovering. I dont know what to do. Is it working? If the manufacturer sees this message please help. What do I do to fill that gap after spraying? Steel wool? Caulking? Foam?

After doing a long research on the web, I decided on the Spectracide. It worked. With the provided tube, I could reach in the tunnels through the drilled holes by the carpenter bees. 5 minutes after spraying, both the male and female crawled out and dropped dead on the ground as indicated by the picture.

Worked excellent. Sprayed in about 10 holes the bees had made. Heard some buzzing start and a few minutes later bees were falling out of the holes and died shortly after.

Working on my front yard I noticed multiple yellow jackets around a particular shrub, after some investigation I found there was a small nest. I bought this product and sprayed from about 5 feet away and within the hour the hive died.

I sprayed this in all the holes in my deck and noticed bees dropping out of the holes shortly afterwards. I would highly recommend this to kill the carpenter bees as I just bought it today and noticed immediate results.

It goes fast! I’ve sprayed flying carpenter bees with it and it just seems to run them off only to come back, but when I spray it in their holes and fill the hole with a dowel - the bees don’t come back. Just wish I didn’t blow through it so fast.

Liked application mechanism that allowed us to get into crevices better than we were able to other surface sprays. We were able to get into the area where bee activity appeared and know that product was applied because it foamed to surface when crevice was full.

This spray is easy to apply. I killed the bees fairly quickly.

Previous experience was great ,have not found it as successful this time it killing bees on contact

Your sales associate went up and above and out of his way to find that product for us. I was really grateful for that.

Second can purchased and I am not pleased with the outcome, still at lot of bees especially when sprayed in early AM. If there are still bees after second spraying, I will switch brands or get a professional. Not pleased with results.

This is a really good product. I do not like to kill bees, but I manage some condo assets, so I did not have a choice for this large infestation. Wasp & other sprays do not work. I still have to get a professional to do the hard work, but the spray made the place safe.
