Easy to install and quality is good

It was as I expected

It does the job, but when you work with other low voltage brands (like VOLT), Southwire cable looks like a lower quality cable. In addition, the imprint with cable specs is black, so is practically impossible to see it. I know that in low voltage there is no “polarity” and it does not matter what cable is connected to the screw, but me personally, I like to have the imprint cable connected to the voltage and the other one to the Com port at the transformer, always making sure that the common and voltage wire are on the same wire when doing connections. As I said, it does the job very well, but I prefer a better quality cable.

The spool was open and there was not all the wire I paid for on the spool.. the wire was about 75 feet short so I did not have enough wire to complete the job. please send me the 75 feet of wire I was shorted. I plan to start working on this project again in the next couple of weeks. When I have time off

Can you use this in place of 14/2 stranded for a small trailer lights. Thanks

If you have outside lighting at a distance from the power source, this is what you need for a 12vdc system. I have a solar charged 14.7vdc 200ah lifepo4 battery for the power source, this 10/2 wire works grate.

Used it fir landscaping. Great!

It’s a roll of wire and worked out great. I find this smaller gage to work better with most of the standard lights on the market. The bigger wired would cause the connector clips to break.

This is a must have for long runs of outdoor landscaping lights. It is very heavy gage wire with good conducting ability. I would have given it a 5 but the price is a bit high. It last for years so in the end it is the right wire to use if you have long runs.

It's wire so it works fine. The primary difference I could tell from the other brand I was using was the polarity texture on the casing of the wire is much harder to distinguish on this wire than the premium brands. This wire only has two ridges on it where the previous wire I was using had a full texture all the way around one side of it so it was easy to identify by touch and site even in dirt. As long as you just pay attention at splices you'll be fine but as a preference, I would like more texture on the casing.

Only comes in FIFTY or FIVE HUNDRED lengths? What about ONE HUNDRED?!? I need about two hundred feet but am NOT going to order FIVE HUNDRED feet.
