Good vapor barrier, easy to use

Perfect for bamboo flooring.

It is very wide and covers a large area. Good worth for the money. Only slips more than the other one we used. Need to keep a little higher margin. Will recommend for sure. Good product!

The roll, while only about 3 feet wide actually contains 10 feet of Moisturbloc folded over. That makes it very easy to measure and cut lengths that are 10 by X feet. The folds do remain, but can mostly be smoothed out as you go.

Order SimpleSolutions Moisturebloc. Do not try to use the Roberts vapor barrier that Home Depot carries in the store; it's way too hard to use because its got lots of folds in it and you will never get it flattened out. Don't waste your time. Moisturebloc can be ordered online and is worth the wait. It's easier to get spread out smooth and coming in a 10 foot width is a good size to work with. I'm on my second flooring project using this and I will stick with it.

We are currently using this underlay while putting down our laminate floor. It is very good quality.

Fifth time I've installed laminate flooring and the first time I tried this product. This material is very smooth and the first few rows of flooring slide a lot more than with foam underlayment. My recommendation is to use the foam. Also the foam is slightly thicker. If installation is on a second floor the foam may help to deaden sound on the room below.

First time working with a vapor barrier of any kind but easy enough to handle. Great value compared to products similar products. Shipped quickly and arrived undamaged

Excellent...700 sq/ft great price, great underlay...

Getting this to lay flat under laminate flooring is almost impossible due to the wrinkles in the roll from the way they wrap it at the factory. Do not recommend this product for laminate flooring. If you don't get ALL of the wrinkles completely out before you install the flooring, it will krinkle and make noise as you walk across the floor. I've tried everything to get the floor to stop making noise from the plastic. I've put heavy weight on the floor to flatten the plastic to no avail. Get a different plastic to install your laminate floor.

The product was more than sufficient for the job. Nice thick and sturdy underlayment.

Ordered online, arrived in less than a week. Prepped the floor and laid this underlayment. It was tough to cut as it is folded several times, especially around corners and working my way through the different shapes in the room. I walked on it, placed a few boards of hardwood on top and rubbed it against the concrete underneath and did not rip. Very sturdy and thick, just a bit complicated to lay down flat.

I've only just laid this stuff, so I can't vouch for how it lasts, but I found it to be about the cheapest option out there for plastic underlayment, and it seemed strong enough to do what it was supposed to do and lay fairly flat despite wrinkles and creases it came with. This larger size is definitely a price performer; if you've got more square footage than what two of the smaller 120-sq.-ft. rolls can cover it's worth ordering this larger size to save money. I also found the larger size to give me a little more flexibility in covering my large spaces without so many seams, though you may end up wasting some at the edges.

Product came in one 700SF roll that was far cheaper to buy than the 150SF rolls for my project. Product is very thick and durable and held up to walking on, stacking flooring on and using tools to install floor on the moisture bloc. After floor installation moisture block felt solid under the floor and made no noise when walking on it with the floor on it. When cutting I used scissors however cuts better with a razor blade knife. Overall a good quality durable product.

For the do it yourselfer or professional installer, this works as needed.

Good product for what I needed and it arrived faster than projected. I recommend purchasing more than what you think you will need because you have to overlap each piece by 8 inches. I ended up being short and had to make an extra trip to the store.

I was very disappointed with the sizing. The poly sheets (2) were ordered as 10'x12' but arrived as a 9'6"x 11'-10" . The fact that it was 6" short didn't allow for the manufacturer's required overlap of 8" in my 20' long room. there's just NO excuse for the product to be undersized. Other than being cut undersized........ it's a reasonable product.

This product is nicely rolled onto a cardboard tube with no wrinkles in it. Since it is virgin resin polyethylene, its film thickness and consistency should be more uniform than something that was made from recycled plastics.

Not in stock in store, but only took a few days to get it shipped in. Clerk I worked with went above and beyond to help me, including getting my Veterans discount. We installed 750' of Pergo flooring our selves, this product with its color, made it easy to follow are lines. It was also big enough to cover a large area so we didn't have a lot of cutting and piecing together. Would highly recommend this product, especially for DIY person that I'm. This product did exactly what it was supposed to do.

Doesn't have any internal folds (which other vapor barriers have a lot of!) and lays very flat and smooth on the surface, which is a big plus. Lacks a glue strip on the edge, which would have made it easier to install. At this price, a great bargain if you have a lot of space to cover.
