Q:What is the difference between this product and plastic drop cloth? I am not a polytech but the plastic on these underlayment seem to be the same as drop cloth plastic. It seem to cost more just because it uses the words like "vapor barrier underlayment"

Answer This Question
A: Hello amateurfloor! Plastic drop cloths are normally only .5, 1,or 2 mil thick, are made to temporally protect items while trade work is being performed, then they are disposed of properly. 6mil vapor barrier is thicker and is made to last, not be used for a temporary job then thrown away. Thank you for your inquiry. - Helen
