    A:  Hello! Simple Solutions Moisturbloc Vapor Barrier Underlayment is recommended for installation between a smooth concrete subfloor and laminate flooring to inhibit moisture incursion. There are no recommendations to install on a ceiling. Thank you for your inquiry. -Dennita

        A:  Hello! Moisturbloc Vapor Barrier Underlayment is installed between a smooth concrete subfloor and laminate flooring to inhibit moisture incursion.               Q:What is the difference between this product and plastic drop cloth? I am not a polytech but the plastic on these underlayment seem to be the same as drop cloth plastic. It seem to cost more just because it uses the words like "vapor barrier underlayment"

              A:  Hello amateurfloor! Plastic drop cloths are normally only .5, 1,or 2 mil thick, are made to temporally protect items while trade work is being performed, then they are disposed of properly. 6mil vapor barrier is thicker and is made to last, not be used for a temporary job then thrown away.
