That's not what we expect to hear, Mike! Prior to each use, it is essential that Rust-Oleum Automotive Enamel Spray Paint is thoroughly shaken before each use and often during your application. The nozzle can also be removed and soaked in mineral spirits to help clear any lodged pigment.

For the best results, we recommend holding the can 10-16" from the surface, applying light, even coats 15 minutes apart. If the paint begins dripping or running on the surface, we recommend applying lighter coats, keeping the can moving across the surface at all times to prevent over applying. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2
