I use frequently. Biggest problem . If I use partial can then leave for length of time the spray tip clogs. Often even if I replace tip, it won't spray. If I take tip off and invert can pushing down on flat surface , paint will still come out. Please redesign spray tips so they can be easily cleaned. Sell spray tips seperately so I can replace and use up the can. I currently have 30 half used cans and half of those are clogged. Your recent price increase will put using your spray paint out of reach of many I paid $11. for last purchased at Home Depot.

It's not 2k, but it'll do the job. Only way I'd give it a 4 star would be if it was a fan nozzle.

If you want to put clear over the top of...
If you want to put clear over the top of this I would not recommend as it started lifting once I put 2k clear over it after drying for 4 days. I scuffed the this with 1000 grit and and grey scotch bright pad to scuff up before applying the clear coat. No edges were broken and it still lifted once 2k clear was applied.

Let's talk about this! While Rust-Oleum Automotive Enamel Spray Paint dries to the touch after a few hours, it does take 7 days in ideal conditions to fully cure. We recommend following the application recommendations for the clear to ensure it can be used over 1-part enamels as well. When using a different manufacture's paint, we always recommend applying in a test area first to ensure favorable results.

Not as good as Clear Coat. I was trying to shine a car’s paint but it didn’t shine or cover as it should have. I’m sure it’s a great product because it’s Rustoleum when used for other projects. I’m just not satisfied using it in car paint.

SUCKS
Apparently they have changed the formula for this paint . It used to be great . Now it wrinkles on the second coat even if you wait a couple of days . Had to strip and repaint 2 pieces before switching brands .

Let's see what we can figure out. Rust-Oleum Automotive Enamel Spray Paint can be recoated within 2 hours or after 48 hours. If recoated after 2 hours or before 48 hours (longer at cooler temperatures), the solvent in the new coat can dissolve the film (skin) that has formed, causing the surface to wrinkle.
