Roughly 8 months ago electric bill dropped constant hot water excellent will buy tow more of them for my new home

So far so good. Too early to be more elaborate. However, I do like the lifetime warranty, and it is the reason I bought this unit.

The heater was installed 1 week ago and leaked from the cold and hot water intake right away.

Nice clean looking unit, good range of temperature settings. Installation was pretty straightforward. Would buy it again.

It's only been a day and I'm getting a request to review. It's not leaking so far and it provides hot water. What can I say. Time will tell.

I bought this tank becuase I have a lot of iron in my water. I had a Rheem 50 gallon metal tank and it the iron ate threw the side of tank. Seen this tank while looking for another one and paid the extra money but well worth it in the long run.

Easy to install; have to take covers off to adjust temps; wish the drain valve was easier to access. Had one before but the inlet began to leak between inlet pipe and tank (a little separation occurred). Tank was fully warranted and was replaced at no cost. Tank was about 8 years old

I purchased this product because it was highly recommended by my plumber.

This unit is a component that also functions as a part of our ground water heat pump home heating system. The Rheem was an excellent choice by our heating contractor when updating the heat pump after 26 years.

I replaced my old 40 gallon water heater with this unit last year and so far I really like it. The install was straight forward. The recovery rate is good, and I believe the unit will last long enough to justify the higher cost vs other electric water heaters.

I installed the Marathon water heater in June, 2016. I purchased this water heater as a replacement water heater which is non-corosuive.

Recently had this new Rheem installed. We heard a lot about the quality and performance of this type of water heater so we hope it lives up to it's reputation.

I will save money in the long run and be worry free of having to replace the water heater again. As I get older, I find it harder to do house maint. which having to hire someone to replace/fix things is not an option at times when on a fixed income.

We purchased our water heater several months back and it has dropped our electric bill a few dollars a month.

The water heater works great. We bought it over six months ago and have had no problems with it. We hope it lasts as long as our last Rheem water heater (40+ years!)

After going through about 5 different water heaters and after doing my research I finally purchased a 50 gallon Rheem Marathon, and I am glad i did, unit is very well insulated which means water is always hot but also saves money.

We recently had a multi-day power outage due to a winter storm. I was surprised to find that even after having no electricity to the water heater for 24 hours, the water was still hot enough for a shower!

This is a great value for the money. I wouldn't buy a different water heater

We had 3 metal water heaters that all went bad within 4 months of each other. Have had the fiberglass heater over a year with no problems.

So far it is wonderful. Hope it keeps up the great non smelly water. Well water usually ruins hot water, but this seems to really cure our problem. We waited longer than we should have. But once we put this in we have smelled or should I say not smelled our hot water.

The short marathon water heater was recommended by a plumber, who turned out to be right: it was a great fit for the crawl space, and we have had no problems with it at all.

Glad we bought this, very reliable and looks great in our basement.

I bought this last summer and self installed. It was easy and straightforward and has solved my smelly hot water problem. Using in conjunction with Kinetico water system.

It's hard to review a new waterv heater. The real test is how long before it leaks and has to be replaced. A lifetime warranty is suggestive of the quality though.

I purhcased my Marathon water heater just days ago, it replaced an 11+ year old water heater. The water is hot, fast and reliable so far. A small glitch with the installation, it was rectified by days end and everything was completed as promised. My only negative comment, the Rheem Marathon water heaters aren't easy to find in Nova Scotia, I had to do a lot of research to find the only company that knew about it and would/could install my Rheem Marathon!

I bought this as a replacement for my existing water heater which was leaking. The plumber had this model on hand and recommended it.
