The fireplace is so pretty in our living room & the heater is nice too

This fireplace came well wrapped in its shipping cartons. The assembly took about 45 minutes using a ratchet allen. It was a simple process; however, the front top panel did not fit its placement and I needed to hammer the piece into place despite my tightening and loosening of the side screws. The fireplace receives many compliments and heats up our 300 sq ft 3-season room in about an hour.

The actual f/p is very nice...When we received it the mantel corners in the front were smashed in on both sides. We called Home Depot and they were great. They had the company send us free of charge a new mantel. That one also was damaged on one corner. We tried to fix it by using a black marker to fill in the cork looking wood were the black was gone and smashed. We did keep it and really the only one that notices it is me because I know where it is. Again I want to stress that Home Depot was wonderful..

This is a great decorative piece.i live in Florida hence,i won't be using much of the heat,nor have I use it yet. However it's very nice and well build.Has a great weight to it too. Buy! Buy! Buy! Anything is as great as you make it look.

Beautiful addition to our great room. Easy to assemble. Well made. Just what I wanted for the ambiance and warmth of chilly mornings and evenings. Great product!

Had my grandson put it together and he said it was very easy to assemble. I love the flame it looks real , it's very quiet with the heat on the only thing I was a little upset was it was a little darker then the picture . I would recommend this to anyone .

We moved from a large home to a condo and knew we would miss the ambiance of a fireplace. After we explored possible options, the electric fireplace concept seemed most workable. We purchased a middle range product (~$650) as we view it as a piece of furniture in our living room. It matched some existing pieces perfectly, which was one of our concerns. My son-in-law was able to construct it by himself in about an hour and it works beautifully. The firebox is strong and the fire image created is excellent. It even warms which may be important in the winter. The remote control is easy to understand and makes using the fireplace simple.

We bought this electric fireplace to install in the new home we are building. We are having a corner wall put in specifically to place this against. The builder has installed this model in another new home and agrees with us this is the perfect choice. We haven't put it together or used it yet but have opened the box and inspected all the parts. They look perfect, no damage. We plugged in the firebox to get a look at the flames. Looks good. :) Can't wait to get it put in the house and put together. From all the positive reviews it should work just great.

The fireplace came in two boxes and was easy to assemble. It looks quite natural and provides warmth, if desired. It provides ambiance and ads a coziness to our living room. While we could have ordered this product for a lower price elsewhere, I was more concerned with the reliability of the shipper and, therefore, went with Home Depot because I know they are reliable and they even helped to load it in our car. The product was exactly as described. The switches can be used on the product or by using the remote which is conveniently small. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting low maintenance, ease of assembly, and good quality.

First the bad news: As stated in other reviews, there were a couple of places that the holes and screws did not align. Since I didn’t know the first thing about drilling new holes, I just kept going with the set up, and everything has held together just fine. Of course, I kept checking to ensure each piece was secure, even with the two unsecured areas. This is the only reason I left off one star. Good news: This is the one! I did so much research on electric fireplaces before deciding on this piece. Besides online research, I went to a fireplace specialty store in town and several furniture stores. Most I couldn’t afford, and the ones I could looked cheesy. Based on the photos and reviews, I finally went with this one. The set up took me about two hours but will probably take a more skillful person much less time. The piece is beautiful and the flames are more realistic than I thought they would be. The remote and auto shut off features are really nice to have. On high, the fan is definitely noticeable but no more so than a space heater. I have the fireplace in a corner of a great room, and after a couple hours the thermostat rises about five to seven degrees when the fireplace is on its highest setting. That is major, considering the open floor plan. Best of all, I have found that sitting in front of an electric fireplace with a cup of coffee or glass of wine is just as relaxing as sitting in front of a real fireplace.

There were a few minor scratches on the front. Step 5 - center panel, do not tighten screws in step 4. Front panel must slide down between side panel and I was not able to do so since they had to be moved slightly outward in order for the front panel to slide into place. As another reviewer advised, the screws to have a light coat of oil that can be transfer to the surface of the wood. Even thought this product was made in China, I was pleasantly surprised that the instructions were very well written, all of the holes were in the correct location. the screws fit perfectly and all of the parts were in the carton. All pieces were numbered and assembly was easy. It will help you if you have an Allen attachment for your drill vs. using the Allen wrench that came in the carton. It saves a lot of time using a drill. Greg

I ordered this fireplace online. It arrived at the store as promised. My son helped me pick it up and put it together for me. After it was assembled we noticed the top was badly damaged as well as the front panel. I called Home Depot and they ordered the new parts. The second top arrived broken so I called the company directly and they sent out another top with a promise it would be inspected before shipped. Both the top and front panel arrived in perfect condition. It is beautiful and looks real. I love turning it on in the evening and enjoy the fire and the warm air. I would recommend this fireplace to anyone that is looking for a quality piece of furniture, as well as the feel of a real fire.

Very easy for my husband to assemble. Doesn't kick out a lot of heat, but our living/dining area is large & open. Would probably do much better in a smaller room. Heater is a little loud but not annoying. The mahogany color is slightly more red than it looks in the picture. Flame looks realistic. Very sturdy, good quality material. A few pieces were damaged during shipping. We called the manufacturer, & they sent replacement pieces out quickly with no issues. Would definitely recommend.

Added the fireplace to accent our living room but were surprised at how well it offers heat and cozy atmosphere. The fireplace was easy to assemble (about an hour) with clear directions and small tool that is included. The mantle looks authentic and sharp. The artificial flame is much better looking than we anticipated while the heating unit is enough to warm the living room. All that is missing is the crackling sound of the fire! The next best thing to a real fireplace.

I searched forever for a fireplace! I wanted it to be as realistic as possible, this one is. I live in Florida so the ambiance was more of what I was looking for. We have few days that alittle extra heat will be nice too. I put this in my livingroom. I cant say anything as far as putting it together, the store was nice enough to do that for me. I had it shipped right to the store. I am more than pleased.

This fireplace is very pretty. We purchased it for our bedroom as a TV stand and also to help heat the room. It is a great size for a 50" TV and a nice addition to the room. It does put out heat but not a lot. The room is on the larger side and it takes about 15 minutes to make a difference in the temperature with the fireplace set at 78. I would recommend it but not if you're hoping for a lot of heat in a large room. Perhaps it would be better for that in a smaller room.

I picked it up at the store. It arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to put together. All of the pieces were labeled correctly. The holes lined up perfect. I am very satisfied with the look quality and heater.

The unit works great in our sitting area (10x14) off the kitchen. Assembly was easy and the allen bolt style fasteners worked great, compared to some older style insert fasteners. The hardest part really was unpacking it. We love the different flame settings and like the dynamic ember effect best. The heater works real well and keeps the room toasty. It also flows out into other parts of our house to cut down on our furnace use. The quality and price of this unit can't be beat when compared to other way more expensive fireplaces with the same features.

I ordered the fireplace online and picked it up in the store near me. I assembled it by myself and it took me about 3 hours. The directions for the mantle is available online and sometimes can be frustrating to follow. Overall love the look of the fireplace, especially for the price.

Heater element has 4-attachment points. Screws provided would not penetrate pressboard cross pieces. Had to use better screws and pilot holes to attach. All other attachments are satisfactory.

I ordered this and knew I would need help in putting it together. Home Depot put it together for me without charge and also delivered! I couldn't have been more happier with the great assistance they gave me. I am loving my new living room renovation with the laminate floors from Home Depot as well as the fireplace from Home Depot.!!!!

This was easy to assemble and is a very nice addition to our livingroom. We are happy with our purchase.

We bought this fireplace because I was looking for a blackwash one and I didn't want one to small. This is a really nice realistic size. I was alittle worried about needing to assemble it but it was very easy to put together. Everything came included. No special tools. We have a modified A-frame house and it heats up the first floor and loft very nicely. The flames look realistic and it is just what we wanted. I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend it for a back up for heat. I haven't gotten an electric bill since we've put it in so not sure how much our electric will go up so that's going to be interesting to see.

We purchased more for looks than a heat source. It is stunning. Went together well, feels sturdy, and does put off good heat, and a beautiful flame

The fireplace is beautiful and looks so much like a real fireplace. Also, it was so easy to put together. I love how each piece has a number and an arrow so you know which direction it goes. What a great idea! The directions were so easy to follow.

I was so hesitant to buy an electric fireplace but had no choice as my condo community doesn't allow real ones. Now I have fallen in love with this little guy. Luckily it works without the heater because I've been running it every night of June, in TEXAS! I'm not saying you'll fake-out anyone into believing it's a real fireplace but it really fills a void! I added fireplace sounds from an app I found online and it rounded out the whole experience nicely. I'm just waiting on my fireplace scented candles to be delivered. If I had to complain I guess it would be that the "dynamic embers" aren't that dynamic. I wish I could have the highest flame and the lowest ember setting but it wont let me do that. But seriously it's not that big a deal. I'm a happy camper!
