[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found this unit on sale at Home Depot. Has all the features I need for occasional light to medium duty use. Assembly was easy and the Honda motor started on the third pull (I had the switch in “off” position on the first pull. My bad). I have used it on a few small jobs around the house and have been pleased with its performance. I use Tru-Fuel 4-cycle gas and close the fuel shut off valve to run the carburetor dry before storage. I expect long life from the engine, but the pump? We shall see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits in my Honda Civic without any gas oil or soap leaks, the idea of just twisting the handle to change pressure is genius, and after purchasing it I’ve been looking for anything that’s dirty just to bust baby out, if you’re looking for a easy to use/ easy to maintain pressure washer to have around this is the one for you; plus when your friends ask to borrow it no worries. Your busy will get his job done with ease and because of the dependability you can always count on from Honda and Ryobi ensures you’ll get it back without any broken parts. Don’t waste your money in time on some generic machine this one is out of their league and about the same price.

The worst piece of equipment I've ever seen! Would not run out of the box

I bought it because of the Honda engine but it would only run with the air filter off. I had to return it.

Fully detailed assembly and startup instructions made getting it running out of the box quick and easy. Honda engine started up on first pull as usual. Pull start is smooth and easy. Once the machine was operating worked well. First job was to pressure wash the driveway and it did that quite well. Also purchased an EZ clean attachment which made the driveway job very quick, finished that in 90 minutes compared to the 3 to 4 hours without the attachment. 25 foot hose comes with it which means moving the unit along often if you have a long driveway but the unit moves easily.

I’ve been looking at pressure washers for some time,but never seemed to find the right deal. I stumbled upon this unit in a second hand store for a fraction of the cost of a new one, and after looking it over as best I could in the store I bought it. The spray nozzles had never been even been out of the package,plus all the paperwork was still in the bag,so I figured it hadn’t been abused. Once I got it home it took a while to get it up and running,which I figured it would as it looked like it had been sitting in the corner of someone’s garage for quite a while. After cleaning the old gas residue out of the carburetor and installing a new air filter, it fired right up. Honda engines rule! The entire unit now looks brand new as well! Anyway, I used it for a while just to make sure it was ok and for a homeowner unit, it performed great. Haven’t tried the soap tank yet but I’m sure it will be fine as well. The engine noise level is not too bad and the pump appears to be a decent one as well. Time will tell, but I think I got a major deal.

It is easy to start and easy to use. I highly recommend the Honda 2800 PSI Pressure Washer for all your pressure washing and cleaning needs!

Assembles easily. Put the gas and oil in it.Supply water the pump with garden hose and it fired up on second pull.Runs flawlessly.Only have to get used to variable pressure control which is easy to turn by accident since it is also the lower wand grip.

I rate this 4 stars due to the stiff hose but overall the machine is excellent. We have an 11hp pressure washer but its too difficult for my wife to move and start so I purchased this for her. It starts with one pull and is very easy to move around. The pressure control works quite well and the unit is not too loud. We have a grange in the area so I shop there and only use non-ethanol fuel which will help reduce long term maintenance.

I have 2 other machines in the last few years; however, they have not held up too well and required much service. I bought this as I have found Ryobi tools to be excellent and I trust Honda for the engine. Very easy to setup and use. Started very quickly and provided super power,

Opened it, assembled it but it never started. Returned it the next weekend. Avoid it if you can.

Upon first use of this washer, I found it easy to assemble and prepare for operation. It started up easily, maybe the 2nd or 3rd pull and ran smoothly. The gas tank is on the smaller size so time of operation time between refills is roughly 30-40 minutes. My unit ran OK for the first two tanks fulls, but then started to run rough the 3rd tank. It stalled out before running out of gas again and I had trouble starting it up again. I let it sit, got it to start again later but it ran very rough. I checked the spark plug and it was showing a charred black coating on the tip and ends of thread. After cleaning the spark plug and reinstalling it, the motor would only start and run for seconds and shut down again. This motor must have been a "dud" and had a "blow out" of sorts. I believe this is a reliable brand and the Honda motor should be a good one. I returned the unit to my local Home Depot with no problem and with the full refund, I bought a slightly larger, 3000 psi Ryobi with Honda motor. If this new unit fails, I would give up on this brand.
