A:  The "round" washer attachments have specs. Just look for one that's compatible for a gas pressure washer up to 2800 PSI. Connectors, etc are universal

A:  Any surface is compatible if you know what you do

Q:What size extension hose do i buy for this or does it matter.

                  Answer This Question

A:  It comes with a 25 ft. length hose, with a female thread on each end that fits to the pressure wand as well as to the machine. If there is an extension, it would need to have a male thread on one end and the female thread on the other. You would have to contact Ryobi to see if such an item is available.

                  by|May 5, 2023

A:  Suggest 5/8" for full flow into machine. 1/2" will work.

A:  Hello, Dlh- If you're looking to extend the reach of the high pressure hose, please check out these two items: AP31014 (hose, 25ft.), and AP31087 (hose to hose coupler). These should work great. We don't recommend extending the length of the hose beyond 50 ft because the pressure will be affected. We hope this helps!

                    by|May 5, 2023

A:  it comes with a 25ft hose. I think you can use up to a 50 ft hose.

                      by|May 5, 2023

A:  usually a 3/4 " diameter garden hose works for me, gives enough water pressure for the pressure washer to be effective and depend what you are cleaning, use the right detergent solution, for the cleaning of the surface, like concrete driveways, vinyl siding, etc.,etc.

A:  Yep, has plenty of power, you just have to relate with the nozzle..you have 4 options, standard. Dont need anything else..great unit, starts easy every time

A:  Yes, this model is strong enough to remove paint.

A:  Hello, DrManashtash- Thanks for the question. A lot of your answer will be determined by just how peeled the paint is. Some paint washes off with very little pressure, while others have to be blasted with more force. Our best recommendation would be to pick an out-of-sight spot, and do some testing. We have a pressure dial that could help make your job a lot easier. If you will, check out model RY31019. This control valve allows you to dial the pressure up and down as necessary. This way, you can adjust the pressure to full for harder-to-remove paint, and down for the flakiest paint removal. We hope this helps!

                            by|May 5, 2023

A:  The wand has a dial that adjusts the pressure. That, together with a wider angle nozzle, will do what you want.

A:  That is a tough call because it may possibly damage the wood, if you get too close to the wood for too long. It really depends on the expertise of the user and just how much paint is already peeling. If you already own the power washer, it’s worth a shot

A:  Hi Ron, Sorry this motor does not have a drain plug you will need to lean it in the direction of the oil cap and pour the oil out there. Thanks for asking. Greg

                                  by|May 5, 2023

A:  The answer to your first question is NO. To change the oil you tip it on it's side where you add oil and drain it.

                                    by|May 5, 2023

A:  This engine does not have a drain plug. Just remove the cap from the oil filler tube and tip the machine to drain the oil into a shallow pan.

A:  No, you have to tilt the unit to empty the old oil.

A:  Thank you for asking, Hawki. In order to use the soap function of this machine, you will simply install the soap nozzle to the tip of the spray wand. If you would like to rinse again, you would need to remove that soap nozzle and then install a different type pressure nozzle. I hope this helps and we appreciate your interest in Ryobi! -Keri

A:  No button. Switch the colored tip and rinse till soap stops. This is covered in the manual.

A:  After checking my owners manual I think you can't switch back and forth. Seems you have to fill the detergent holder with clear water and run until it comes out clear. I'm going to check with the manufacture to see if there is another way.

A:  I was not able to get the soap to completely shut off, so I added the valve in the link below to the clear soap tubing underneath the washer. Just cut the tube and the valve slips on. https://www.homedepot.com/p/John-Guest-3-8-in-O-D-Polypropylene-Push-to-Connect-Valve-803289/300753478

A:  If you use the soap nozzle, the soap will flow. Just switch to a non-soap nozzle and the soap will stop.

                                          by|May 5, 2023

A:  To switch from soap to rinse change the soap nozzle on the pressure washer. This will automatically stop the soap from combining with the water.

A:  It has 2 oil sticks because that motor is probably used in several different applications ( not just pressure washers) and due to engine placement it's easier to have 2 sticks than to cast a different engine casting.
