Power washed cottage up north, deck, and picket fence over the week end
Gave it a good hard work out for a whole week end and it performed great. This is my second pressure washer and this one feels more robust. obviously need to put more time in to see if it keeps going but right now I have a lot of confidence in this machine. I like the Honda engine hope the pump is not a weak link. I would recommend it and I am a hard person to please.

Product Arrived Damaged and Covered in Oil
I had high hopes for this unit but when I received the unit (I ordered it online), the box was soaked with oil and had holes in it. When I took the unit out of the box everything was covered in oil, the frame, the air filter, the gun, and the metal wand that attaches to the gun was BENT! After pulling the recoil a few times I realized I had to replace the air filter ($12) since that was choking the engine from all the oil saturated in it. It took at least 15 pulls to finally get the engine started. After spraying for a few minutes, I noticed the engine/pump took a long time to "idle down" when I let off the trigger. I also didn't like the Velcro strap used to hold the hose because it was clumsy to use and looked like an afterthought. For positives, the unit was easy to put together. And I liked that the gun has a variable pressure dial that adjusts the pressure without having to switch nozzles. Overall, very disappointed with the shipping service who shall remain nameless (but let's just say it wasn't USPS or FedEx). Maybe if Ryobi would have used better packaging there wouldn't have been so many problems.

Real easy to work with and does a great job
If i can use this tool, anyone can. I am an absolute newbie in this area. I read reviews posted by others, check up a few youtube reviews and decided to buy this unit. It took me less than 10mins to setup out of the box. Followed the quick start guidelines. Picked up additional fuel stabilized, pump fluid from HD while buying the pressure washer. I have so far tried it on cleaning a really weathered deck and concrete. I used soap dispenser first and then followed up with white adapter for cleaning. I had to get real close like about 3 inches from the deck board to clean the deck. Maybe my deck had a lot more grime and weathering than usual decks. I am going to follow this up a deck restore paint. I would recommend this unit. Its value for money. Probably the hose could have been a tad more flexible, but not a major issue.

working great so far
Pros: very easy to put together, light and easy to move, starts easily. adjustable pressure is nice feature cons: small gas tank. no way to turn off valve to soap reservoir I purchased this to replace a 10+ year old Rigid pressure washer. I primarily use it seasonally to pressure wash my deck and wood deck furniture. very nice unit. easy to set up and use. A nice feature is the adjustable dial pressure setting. I didn't think I'd use this but it came in handy to adjust pressure to avoid damaging my cedar deck. My on complaints, and they are minor, is I don't see a way to shut off the flow from the soap reservoir and the gas tank is a bit small. I had to keep filling gas about every 30-40 minutes. Both are minor annoyances and overall I'd recommend this unit for light use around the home. Pics of deck cleaning attached. for reference the Green 25 with dial set to 3/4 was about perfect for deck cleaning.

I Love It....
I had first bought an electric pressure washer, and it just didn't do the work. I decided to buy this product (Ryobi 288 psi, 2.3 gpm gas pressure washer) and I absolutely love it!!! Not to sound negative...but as a single woman, it was easy for me to put together and run it without any difficulties! :) However, I had also purchased the attachment "EZclean, 15" Surface Cleaner, 381mm" to go with it, and it cut my work in half.!!! This in itself is a great investment!!! I highly suggest this product.! P.S. If it can clean MY patio...it can clean anything.!!! ;)

    First time buyer!
This was my first time buying a pressure washer, and I'm very pleased with my decision on this Ryobi 2800 psi washer. I chose this one because of the price, psi and Honda engine brand. The only thing that I have to complain about is the hose is pretty stiff but I think with time it will loosen up. The engine starts very easy. I've used this for a combined total of about 8hrs and have had no issues. I have washed my two vehicles and my concrete sidewalk and the end of my concrete driveway and it did awesome!

It is great and MADE IN THE USA.
This machine is MADE IN THE USA. It fired right out of the box and in minutes I was cleaning the driveway. I'm totally satisfied initially! Honda engine runs smooth and quiet. Also, Ryobi comes with a 3 yr. warranty and Home Depot has a 30 day return on this washer. I recommend this model because of its smooth operation!

    Fast and easy to use...
Works great and very powerful. I had an electric power washer before and it was useless. This thing is great. I attached a picture of my son Christian power washing the front deck. It was amazing to see the natural stone again with dirt and algae...looks brand new!

First Timer Here, but VERY Pleased!
Crazy I know, but I'm 45 and this is my very first pressure washer- and I am very happy overall!!. I looked at many reviews online and went with this one due to the other positive reviews, price point and Honda engine. Assembly was a breeze and it started right up on the very first pull- in fact it has started up on most first pulls after I re-fuel. I don't know what the heck since I'm a rookie, but sometimes after re-fueling- espec if I let it unfortunately run totally out of gas- it's like it has to reset a minute or something as when I first try to pull the starter rope it has significant resistance...let it set a minute or so, then it goes back to normal w/ an easy starter rope pull and cranks right up. We have done our lower drive, front sidewalk, upper drive, part of neighbor's drive and the exterior vinyl siding and awnings of a rental home I own...this sucker works like a champ for what I needed. Although I bought a few gallons of soap for drives, deck, etc I have yet to use any of it since it has worked so well on its own w/ no additive- but I will def try the soap again later to see if the results are even more remarkable. I've put several hours on it thus far with no problems other than the start-up noted above after re-fueling. The ability to adjust the pressure with the turn rotation on the wand is very handy as well. Oh- and this is prob a rookie issue too- but sometimes at start-up I have to let the water flow for a couple minutes or so to get the pump going right...if I try to squeeze the handle too soon without letting pressure build up nothing is there...this is prob same with most p washers I would assume...but my garden hoses are a bit long due to the distance I have to go- like 75 feet for one hose and I have had to connect a 75 footer with what I think is a 50 footer...just made sure I had no kinks and snaked the hoses out best I could and ended up working fine in the end. Last note- when you buy this, also buy an extension wand if you want to reach higher up on siding...and also def buy a Surface Cleaner...we got a 15-inch one for the drives and sidewalks; what an incredible time-saver that was with our drives, front porch and sidewalk!

Can't go wrong with a Honda
The unit ships basically preassembled out of the box. You only have to snap on the handle, screw the wand to the trigger handle, fasten the high pressure hose, pour in the supplied engine oil and add fresh gasoline then run water through your hose to flush it out. Before starting the engine and after connecting the water supply for the first time, with no nozzle installed, squeeze the trigger to get water flowing through the system. This should be done to clear any manufacturing debris that may have been overlooked. Always have your hose connected and water flowing before starting the engine. The four-stroke Honda engine is possibly the best in the business. After a quick squeeze of the trigger, to relieve the pressure, this one started on the second pull and it purrs. The manual doesn't mention it but I get the best water delivery by using a ¾" Y connector at the faucet and a ¾" hose. If you use "QD" connectors make sure they are ¾" as well. It ships with an onboard soap dispenser and three assorted nozzles, one specifically for soap application. This is the first pressure washer I've owned that features a pressure adjustable dial conveniently located on the wand just below the handle. Nice feature. This summer I'll be using this to wash my van. Low pressure for soap delivery then high pressure to rinse. Ryobi recommends adding "Pump Protector" after each use and before storing the unit. Home Depot stocks "Karcher Pump Guard" for $7 a bottle. This product will protect the pressure washer from corrosion, premature wear and freezing (down to -25F). Cheap insurance. I've lost one pressure washer to a split pump due to freezing. My vinyl siding is due for a bath but it's still freezing outside so field testing will have to wait a few more weeks. With its perfect five star rating I'm confident this Ryobi will meet or exceed my expectations.

Great Performing Pressure Washer with Honda Engine
I have a lot of concrete driveway, wood deck and railing, and siding that routinely needs pressure washing. After doing some research, I decided on the Ryobi 2800 PSI Gas Pressure Washer with Honda Engine, Model RY802800. Assembly was very easy and the instructions are very user friendly. After using the pressure washer for several tasks, I am very satisfied with the performance. The Ryobi RY802800 Pressure Washer produces a water flow rate of 2.3 gpm @ 2800 PSI using an axial pump. The Honda GCV160 Engine is a 4-stroke, 160 cubic centimeter, consumer grade engine, which is a tried and true performer for lots of outdoor power equipment. It comes with 4 quick-connection nozzles and a 25 foot pressure hose. An onboard soap tank is also included that is set for a 20:1 ratio (water to soap) intake when using the soap nozzle. The engine started on the second pull and runs very smoothly. I especially like the variable pressure dial on the handle, which is good for cleaning delicate wood surfaces. The only thing I do not like is the small 1-quart fuel tank. This will be an annoyance refueling when working on larger cleaning projects, such as driveways. It comes with a 3-year warranty for household use. Highly recommended for non-commercial use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pressure is good but colored tabs break off easily and the connections have corroded to the point where they stay in permanently.

            Great features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for over a year now and have used it for a second season. It comes with different tips for different surfaces and has the built it soap option too. I paired it with a 15” deck sprayer and it makes light work of cleaning the driveway and decks. Backed by a Honda motor too so what more can you ask for.

Great Power Washer and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old power washer bit the dust Last week and I needed a replacement fast! I picked this up at Home Depot and it was out of the box and in use within 15 minutes after getting it home. I do wish that it came standard with the regular quick connections that one usually finds on a pressure washer, but these connections are easy and quick enough to make. I don't notice any difference in the power compared to my last one which was 3200 psi. I would definately recommend this pressure washer to anyone.

            Terrible product
This pressure washer is a pain. Don't waste your money buying it. I messed up when I didn't return it the first time it wouldn't work properly which was the second time I used it. Getting it to start is a hit and miss chance and I usually have to put in a new spark plug every time I use it to get it started. Today I couldn't get it to start so I drained the gas, put in new gas, cleaned the carburetor, and cleaned the spark plug, and it still won't start. It's a frustrating experience every time I use it.
