I wish i could recommend this product considering how much i spent on the whole system, but i can’t. The attachments come off the hose constantly. They don’t snap or screw on, they just slide on and off. When I’m using the vacuum they’re constantly popping off and i have to keep putting them back.

See photo for picture of damaged filter. Packaging was not damaged so I feel the filter may have been crushed during final assembly at manufacturer. Filter is small and moderately difficult to remove. Very few accessories. I do like the detachable blower.

Almost didn’t but because of people claiming those house broke first time they used it. Same happened to me but if you look at the black connection inside it is threaded…You just screw it back on! Wish I bought this kit forever ago…I take my dog to the beach all the time…this is amazing addition to my regular Rigid shop vac

Everything would be fine if the hose would last longer than one car cleaning session. Quality is disappointing.

I bought this just for the hose because the hose that comes with the bucket head shop vac was too stiff and too short to vacuum my office which is why I bought it. After using this set, I have to say that the attachments, which I thought I already had covered, were actually very good and came in very useful for cleaning bathroom overhead vent cover, floor fans, dusting tops of shelves, getting into corners, doing the blinds, behind computers, etc. The hose is a little ungainly but that's because okay as it is made very well and if I need to shorten it, I can get out the hacksaw, a box cutter, big scissors, etc. Only complaint I "had" is it seemed a bit pricey given that I only wanted the hose for my "cheap" bucket head shop vac. After using the attachments, I think it's an okay price. Total expense for everything though is a bit over the top though because when compared to my 14-gallon and 25-gallon shop vacs (in the shop) and all their hoses (50' total) and attachments, this ended up being just as expensive if not more considering it is on a 5-gallon hobodepot bucket after all. It fits and goes where the others (even the house vacuums) just can't. Great for quick spill cleanups in the kitchen too.

Well, it happened to me too, the hose broke off 3 minutes into the very first use. I tried to figure how to screw it back with no luck. Then went on to write 1 star review getting ready to return the kit back to the store, but then read the comments of CS that the hose is removable and just needs to be screwed counterclockwise. Would be nice to have a sticker on top of each box stating how to fix this problem if this happens since it’s a well known issue.

The hose broke off the connector after using it twice. My original hose that came with my ridgid vacuum has lasted over 4 years. However, this hose did not meet my expectations.

This 1-7/8 hose comes with a permanently fixed 1-1/4 adapter on one end. Then the box includes a 1-7/8 to 1-1/4 adapter as well which is useless since there is one built into the end of the hose. This makes it useless as a full time replacement hose for your vac and youd have to have a second hose for your regular attachments. Which makes it a bad purchase and a money grab

You just need to unscrew the end of the Milwaukee hose, then it works great! Very happy!

This was purchased for 53% off, and the reason why it was on sale became apparent on its first use--the end of the hose snapped right off.

Great addition to the rigid shop vac!

First let me say that I am not using this for its intended purpose, I have a car kit that I have had for years and I prefer that for car work. I bought this to hook the hose to my Ryobi Orbital Sander when I was sanding my living room floor, it fit well and I didn't have a major problem with it falling out, it did happen but not enough to really annoy me. I moved a lot of furniture and had to clean all that furniture using this kit, I was really happy with everything but the carpet brush, I didn't like the way it connected to the hose, other than that it vacuumed my couch cushions just fine. The brush attachments did a nice job on spider webs under the furniture, I did not like the brushes for car use, I did try them to see if they were better.

This hose plugs into a 4 gal Rigid shop vac but is not compatible with the hose or attachments that came with it. The adapters in the kit are useless. The hose that came with the shop vac is terrible. Very disappointed. I’ll be upgrading in a few months but not to Rigid.

I have a model WD-4070 and need a carpet attachment with rolling wheels but the one you sell is not compatible with my model. How can this be? Your accessories need to be universal.

The end of the hose that connects to the vacuum is 1 7/8", which means it will work with other vacuums if that is what your vacuum uses. I specifically have the DeWALT 4 gallon vacuum and it fit snugly into the vacuum without any modification. The attachment end is 1 1/4" being reduced from the hose diameter of 1 7/8" and can be screwed off to accept the DWV9000 Universal Connector for dust collection. Also, for the reviews stating that their hose broke.... it didn't; just screw the end back on.

Definitely an good vacuum. Works as expected and it's powerful and lightweight, but I down-rated it because I needed to attach it to a Ridgid table saw and the hose connections don't fit. I should have looked up the dimensions before buying, but I saw that my saw fits "all standard shop vacs", and incorrectly assumed a Ridgid vac would fit a Ridgit table saw without issue. I'm further disappointed that no adapter is sold to fix this issue. I was told that I had to buy the 2 1/2" hose kit, but that leaves me having to find storage for the hose that came with the vac and spend an extra $20 that I didn't anticipate on the kit.

Connects to 2.5” regular shop vac hose (I have a craftsman). Flexible yet sturdy and also works great with power tools (additional adaptors may be needed depending on your power tool).

I am very happy with this purchase. Does a great job cleaning the inside of my vehicle. The only issue I have is that the hose broke after a few uses? I have only used this twice and dont know what could have caused this ? I did try to fix it on my own and it didnt work ....

The hose was long enough to clean the the car without moving the vac .Just wish it came with a bag to store everything in that attached to the vac .

This is a great kit for cleaning your car. Unfortunately the hose provided is of terrible quality. The end broke off during its first use!

Ready to go out of the box !! Love the storage caddy and detachable blower - very smart ! Love the 20 foot cord and quick release with the exception of the 2 prong plug. It's a wet/dry vac after all !! The 7' hose could be a foot longer (I'm used to an 8' hose). The positives far outweigh my negatives - you will not be disappointed ! I rate this 4.5 stars because of not having the 3 prong grounded plug. Love RIDGID tools and looking forward to a more expanded cordless selection too !

Loved it ... until it broke! Purchased this kit in August (so just over two months ago) and we’ve been using it to clean our cars on the weekend. The accessories are great, especially the crevice tool. Just like several other reviewers have said, it works great for the nooks and crannies in your car. Unfortunately, this past weekend, the hose broke at the end where the attachments go. Another reviewer suggested that the hose isn’t actually broken, that you just have to screw it back in. I tried it but I think the part really is broken. After I “screwed” it back on as far as it would go, it would hold briefly but then flop back off again. So disappointed. :(

This is the best shop vacuum I have ever used. Has the power of the biggest vacuum, but is compact. The size is perfect, and the blower option is awesome. I'm a faster door and cabinet installer with this vac.

Hose broke where you connect attachments after 2nd use. I could maybe expect this if it was below 50 degrees but I was in the basement and the temperature is 70F.

Sent my wife to our local HD store to pick this item up (VT2534) for my HD Bucket Head. She came home with the correct product # but it is now a 6 piece kit not a 7 piece. It is now missing the adapter to provide 1--1/4" fittings on both ends of the hose so it won't work for a vac that uses a 1-1/4" inlet, such as the Bucket Head. If I keep it I will need to find or make an adapter to reduce the one hose end down to 1-1/4".

Pleased that rigid even had his upgraded version as it makes any shop vac 100 times better. It's much easier to move around, get to tight spaces, move back and forth with no problem as the hose is very flexible but well built meaning that is strong and won't bend if step on. Love it for auto detailing and once using this hose I don't see the purpose of ever using the stock hose as it's not flexible and hard to use. I could use this kit for all my projects thinks it's all I would ever use just love it. The nozzles are just great for auto detail. The crevice tools fits perfectly between seats and it's bends in the direction need it to. It's a must have. Sturdy but flexible makes vacuuming so much easier between and under seats. Something that I have never been able to achieve with other crevice tools

Freaking love it. Super powerful without the bulk. I used it for car detailing best option out there so far in my opinion. The upgraded car auto kit with new hose and nozzles just make this an overall great buy. I'm able to detach the blower out of the vacuum to blow the water off the car making the job easier and having another use for this shop vac.

i have the standard 2 1/2" hose wand utility wet car nozzles crevice tool floor & round brushes & have to say everything except the dusting brush is great. the dusting brush bristles are too stiff for delicate surfaces; & the brush body is hard plastic
