One of the locks worked as expected and the other required some work to fit on the same window. Also, the lick mechanism seem to not align properly. Who knows, maybe user error???

The lock itself works fine, but the screws included were not. The metal started to strip before I could get them tightened, like the metal was soft. I ended up using the original screws from the lock I was replacing.

It is definitely a good idea to have the exact measurements and a picture of the existing latch handy due to the fact that they have several styles with very similar sizes.

I replaced an old broken one and this was super easy to install and included new screws.

This replacement part did not fit my window. Ultimately, I had to get the correct replacement part from the manufacturer.

I needed to replace the window latch on a home depot Viking Window that slides right to left. I needed to hacksaw off two little nubs on the lever side of this, then it fit like a charm! Awesome!

I have been trying to get my refund for this product for months now. They didn’t fit my windows correctly, so really this is a problem with Home Depot rather than the product itself. I have called countless times where they have told me “my case will be opened again”…… I never got my refund and I bought these in may. It’s July now. Then I get this email asking me how the product is! That’s great thank you for taking my money on a product I don’t own.
