Had to buy these and get installed quickly since I had a break in and suspected they’d be back. Simple and secure fix until I was able to get something better.

The locking device worked perfectly

The latch makes us feel very safe. It screws into the area between the door & the frame, and the metal plate locks into a Grove to prevent the door from opening inward. It's awesome. It was very easy to install also.

The flap is not long enough to stop a door from opening.

The mounting screws provided protrude noticably, despite chamfer on latch. This can scratch the door as it opens and closes, unless there is extra clearance to start with. Not well designed.

works amazingly well and it's about as simple as can be. instillation is literally just 2 screws. And it's just 5 dollars!

We purchased this to keep young critters "in", not necessarily the bad guys "out" and it does the job perfectly. Very easy to install and effective!

Just what was needed for back door

Remember having these around the house when I was a kid. It has solved my problem perfectly without spending a pile of money replacing a door or hiring a carpenter to fix a minor problem.

They worked as described and do a fine job keeping my 2 year old granddaughter from getting away and running off
