I am thrilled with my almost-finished Pergo floors. They're not too light and not too dark. The beveled edges make it look like real wood, but those edges sometimes make it look like there is space between the boards when there is not. We purchased 45 boxes and had to return about 10% of the boards because the edges were uncoated. We've already found some dried pet accidents on the floor and they came up easily with water (we have 2 cats and 2 large dogs). The dogs do slide on it occasionally and there are no scratches. We'll be purchasing area rugs soon to minimize the dogs sliding. This was a great DIY project once we gathered all the right tools. Would highly recommend.

I am disappointed in this product. We have had 30% with manufacture damage (black marks from a wheel?, deep abrasions through finished top, boards glued together, etc.). It does not appear there is any quality control. We had to slow down our installation and inspect each board, filtering out damaged ones. This has increased our installation costs that we cannot pass to the customer. We have had to stop the install while we wait for more material.

We had the Alexandria Walnut Pergo laminate installed 2 days ago. We LOVE the look of it! The boards are textured so it looks like real wood, and they're thick, 10mm, so when you step on the flooring it doesn't sound hollow. A nice feature too is that there is padding already attached, so we didn't have to pay additional for the underlayment padding. I can't comment on the ease of installation because we hired someone to install, but it took 6 hours for 3 people to install 500 sqft. to include kitchen, kitchen nook, pantry, laundry room and 1/2 bath. I didn't see the dark "glue" marks on the boards that some people had commented about. Maybe we just lucked out and got a good batch. I recomment this flooring.

My wife and I really wanted to put in a hardwood or manufactured wood floor, but the cost was a bit too high for our budget. We had read a lot of good reviews on this Pergo product and we liked the sample we saw at the Home Depot store so we decided to give it a try. We laid about 600 square feet that was continuous from our entry to to the front room and then into our kitchen. It wasn’t overly difficult and having the right tools was very helpful. We used a mitre, table and jig saw. We also used the installation kit. It took me longer than I thought it would. Instead of one day it took me two. Despite my wife’s objections I did stop from time to time to watch a game or two on TV. We were replacing old tile, carpet and linoleum. We couldn’t get over how great it looked when we were done. It was hard to put the furniture back in. We just wanted to stand there and stare at it, but It still looked good when we put the furniture back. We liked that this particular Pergo product was in individual planks. That with the surface texture and the beveled edges made it appear very much like real wood. Friends that have seen it did think it was real wood. It also feels very solid when you walk on it not hollow like some floating floors I’ve experienced. We love the color. We thought the Vermont Maple might be too dark. We had wanted a light blond wood, but it turned out nice and helps warm up the room. Overall we are very pleased with this product. So much so that we are going to use it to redo the floors in our upstairs.

Although this product has only been installed for a short while, I am extremely satisfied with its look and endurance. Furthermore, the install is rediculously easy, and fast. The longest and hardest part is the subfloor prep. I have real wood installed in other portions of my home, eventhough it does not feel the same, it is solid underfoot.

Beautifully engineered product, simple (almost FUN) to install. I'm not a gifted DIYer but this 600 sq ft installation in two rooms and two walk-in closets was a snap with this product.

I had to redo part of a large room but Pergo no longer makes the one that I had originally put down. So, got the closest to it. Although it is not an exact match, it was pretty close. Same thickest, length, and width. I think the quality of the old one was slightly better. Overall, it came up quick nice.

Easy to assemble - just like last time! . . . Price was right - just like last time! . . . A breeze to put together - just like last time!!!

After 3 days wrestling with this flooring I am going to rip up and discard: cheap and poorly manufactured means getting the flooring to actually lock together is way too difficult ( yes I leveled the floor and started my first row very carefully).. I installed Pergo about 18 years ago and the product installed literally in a snap.. the Pergo product now is junk and I've lost the $$$ and any trust in Home Depot.

We absolutely love the new flooring! It totally transformed our room renovation.

It is a very pretty laminate. Unfortunately, hard to work with once cut, as the "pins" do not click intoplace. It is not necessary, but we did use an additional underlayment to make it feel better to walk on. Thus, making it feel more solid. It does not live up to its "scratch proof" claim as stated in the reviews.

Terrible product. It would not lock into place and we watched installation videos and read many peoples messages on how to install. Completely undo able. We returned the whole lot. Do not buy pergo

I am currently on hold with the Home Depot (46 minutes as we speak), to try and return this. I hired professional flooring installers to install for me, so this isnt an operator issue. As they install, previous planks start to come apart, and they keep fighting to keep the seems together, but each time a new piece is installed, a piece that was earlier installed starts to pop out. Its a poor interlocking design and not worth the trouble.

I recently extended my livIng room with flooring that perfectly matched the rest of the living room. 5 years ago I put this flooring in my dining room and small living room. I decided to extend the flooring into the remodeled living room. It matches perfectly. My 5 year old floor never faded. Amazing!!! My floor looks great.
