You don’t paint acoustical panels. HD do better and stop misleading people

I bought these expecting to hang them easily on the wall and ceiling. The frames are not solid. There is nothing to set a screw in, and they are heavy enough that Velcro isn't the best choice. They are very expensive for what you get, and there is no guidance on how best to hang them up. Save your money.

These panels have done the trick of reducing the excess noise in the classrooms of our congregation. We attached the panels to the ceilings of the rooms with four 6" toggle anchor bolts per panel. If you go this route, do not tighten the bolts to the panels; have them hold the panel just enough so it touches the ceiling, and then stop tightening. Also, use washers to displace the panel's weight that rests on each bolt head. Our classrooms are roughly 12'x12', and we used two panels per room. They are most effective when installed at the center of the room. Note that although the panels are listed as paintable, their ability to absorb sound will be reduced once painted.

Super easy to install and I could almost feel the panels soaking up echo in my office. Big difference in the audio quality of my zoom calls.

I installed two panels in my laundry room to see if they would reduce the noise coming from my washer and dryer and it worked better than my expectations. Now, when I watch TV in the other room, I don't hear the units running, especially during the washer's spin cycle.

Bought these from Home Depot and found exactly the same item elsewhere for a quarter of the price! Will be far more cautious of shopping at the Home Depot in the future. Feeling very ripped off

Unable to verify whether panels work as they did not come with mounting brackets. Multiple attempts to rectify with vendor have been unsuccessful. Kindly assist. Thx.

Definitely absorbed some of the songs

My son and I have opposite schedules. I put these in his room to help with the sound from TV and video games. These panels did nothing to muffle or absorb the sound.

Excellent, affordable product that works to reduce noise!

Panels are lightweight, gray color is matching to compliment our interior walls. However, panels are compressed and vacuum-sealed for shipping purposes and many took much more than the advertised 24-48 hours to de-compress. And many have not/never fully achieved the desired thickness. Acceptable but recommend exploring other purchase options.

Very fragile and easily damaged.

I put two of these panels between the back of my upright piano and the wall, and they've been working miracles. The sound is clear and crisp, without the annoying reverberations of before!

Very happy with this product. They are lightweight, attractive, durable, and most importantly do an excellent job of absorbing sound. I originally purchased these for my home office to damp down sound coming through the wall from the neighboring apartment...but they also deaden street noise and other non-directional sources. I purchased two more for another room.

Don’t paint these, unless perhaps you’re a professional with the right equipment. Even then, probably avoid. These panels are completely useless once painted. They are also very fragile with little support.

The package did not have the clips, and I left a Voice message as nobody picked up the phone. Still, no response.

Mounted flat on a wall reflection point you’re looking at -4 to -6 dBFS ETC for that reflection. These really do not work for low frequency SPL room correction - putting them in the corners does very little.

Good Acoustic Panel. Dropped room sound level about 3dB... but, the amount of annoying echo in the room is drastically improved. We threw the included mounting hardware away and put it up with several medium Command Strips to prevent damage to the walls.

These panels are well made compared to the other ones I had purchased and had to return. They are easy to install and look great in our office and basement.

I covered the entire wall with these panels and nothing changed

These panels are amazing, I had purchased a set of 4 for my office and they absolutely helped reduce the sound. Install was so simple, I would purchase these again.

Commercial grade excellent Acoustic Insulation Panels. Beige is a great color. Wish they had it in other sizes.
