A little more engineering and this would have been worth buying. I used it to hang 12' drywall and had to zip tie 3/4" slats to the extensions to hold the material somewhat level to the ceiling. The first half day I wanted to charter a flight to Beijing and give them their lift back from 30,000 feet. I used this to sheetrock a 40' X 42' building and was able to get the job done, however don't expect this to be comparable to a quality rental.

Don’t rely on the instructions to help you put it together.. Its easy enough to figure it out but the directions really suck.

Excellent tool for working solo. I'd give it 5 star if it could retract the supports for smaller ceiling and wall cut pieces.

Easy to use! Good quality hoist.

Worked great for lifting drywall and not scary like other cheaper versions sold.

The tool is in 4 pieces, minutes to assemble. I was installing plywood under the floor above a home on 12’ pillars. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without this lift.

This piece of equipment was a lifesaver by helping us install 4x8' sheets of masonite as a ceiling in a machine shed. The only problem we encountered was that we couldn't lock the hoist in the horizontal plane to prevent rotation, but perhaps that is helpful in some types of installations. Locking in the vertical plane was fine.

Works great. Makes a two or three person job into a one person job

It arrived double boxed which was great as the packaging remained intact. The unit was easy to assemble and worked well out the box. One support had a patch where the powder coating could have been better. The unit is sturdy and allows you to position 4 x 8 boards with ease. Great buy!

No team needed to put the lid on a 10’ garage. Easy to assemble and use. Would recommend for DIYers. I’m Not a professional drywaller, so I can’t tell you this is the best lift. It worked for me, and I’m happy with the results.
