Bought this for a small remodel and I am very satisfied. It works well on both walls and ceilings saving our backs. It helps you by holding the sheet while you align it exactly where you want it before screwing it off. The quality of the tool was a concern of mine when purchasing it because it's much less money than others out there but for my project (about 70 sheets) I am very happy with it and would recommend to others.

Spring for the release gave out straight out of the box still functioned but for the price was unimpressed. Additionally it has no way to hold an angle other then using force to push it against a wall. Was not helpful for my cathedral ceiling.

I really like this drywall hoist. I can do drywall by myself very easy.

First time using this to hand drywall and boy it worked like a charm! Don't know how I have gone without it the last 5 years. Don't think about it just get it and you will not be sorry!

It comes in handy and easy to assamble.

I've never used any other drywall lift so I have nothing to compare this model with, but in general it is well built, easy to operate and has been a tremendous help in lifting drywall. We have used it for placing 4' x12' long panels on the 10' high ceilings---a slick operation using the lift. The only flaw in construction of the unit I've noticed is the brake pad that is supposed to keep the lift stationery/from sliding backwards. It's not very effective, but we also have not really had a problem with the lift moving unintentionally. It might be a different story with someone working solo.

Easy to assemble. Gets the job done. Allowed me to install a drywall ceiling by myself.

Works great, hanging 12 ft drywall on high sloped ceiling, drywalling whole house myself. Work by myself and wife helps load sheets, would have had to hire out job with out this machine. Perfect.
