Seems like a good product. Sealant consistantly leaks past caulking gun piston creating a mess and also wasting 1/4 to 1/5 of the caulk. An expensive mess.

Does what it's supposed to do!

I expext the acoustical sound sealant to be sticky . This is not

To work, acoustic sealants need to stay flexible. This junk shrinks and gets hard as a rock. I use it to fill large gaps solely for air sealing rather than flammable foams.

I read this sealant can be substituted for “green glue”. I used it between 2 layers of 5/8” drywall n my ceiling. It really works. Can barely hear anything from the room upstairs. And at 1/3 of the price? Great value

Was very hard when it dried. Therefore I do not think it would be able to slow the transfer of sound

Make sure this stuff is WARM when you want to use it. Don't even think about it if its around the 40 degree mark. Like may others have noted it didn't come out well. Squeezed out the back. I never let it freeze and had it warmed up in the truck all day and tried applying it on a 45 degree day or so and it was miserable. I wish I attempted to use it more but after struggling with 2 tubes I quit and plan on returning.

Great sealant! I used it to seal all the cracks and joints in the basement.

One tube in the case had no application tip. Other than that, it worked well.

Goes on well...project is not completed so I can't say how effective it is. Tube end bends pretty easily and they're heavy so be careful applying it.

Pretty thick coming out of the tube as some have stated. But overall a great value compared to the Green Glue acoustical caulk. I used it in the ceiling and wall assemblies for a home recording studio.

Works pretty well as an acoustic sealant. This is my 4th case. It can be very hard to squeeze out by hand so a powered gun is highly recommended. I dropped two stars because, normally, in a case of 12, there will be 3 or 4 tubes that are starting to cure already. They usually blow out the backside, wasting most of a tube and requiring some down time to clean the gun. Very wasteful & expensive. I intend to start saving these blown tubes so I can exchange a whole case. It's about the only way to get any kind of compensation.

Excellent product, used one tube so far, very easy clean up which is a big reason I am using this product in place of spray foam in some places in my attic.

The perfect caulk for securing sound board to our main floor subfloor to quiet our basement. Perfect product that keeps our upstairs noise upstairs and our basement noise in the basement!
