I used this liquid stainless steel appliance paint kit to redo my dad’s white dishwasher. I painted both sides. I put 8 very thin coats on and on a different day applied 2 coats of the topcoat. It turned out great! What an inexpensive way to change an appliance that turns out looking high end.

Stuff is great’ but if you look upclose you can tell it’s not the real thing. It’s great for looks and temporarily until you can afford the real thing

It is not perfect, however, for a DIY faux stainless steel finish, it does look realistic.

Paint is watery and the steel finish separates fairly quickly. Shaking the can prior to opening is the best way to initially mix. It was easier to apply on a horizontal surface versus a vertical. Good idea to use a T-square/straight edge so the finish looks authentic. Prime the surface gray to get better looking coverage with fewer coats.

It turned out a shiny gray!

My dishwasher was previously white, and I needed a stainless to match my other appliances. This was really simple to do and came out great. Initially, I had to apply very thin layers of paint to get the desired results

Was more silver than stainless steel in color. However, it was written on the instructions that it would bronze over time.

Second time I ve used this product and it didnt disappoint. Secret is to take it slow and steady

Product did the job, yes it doesn't look completely like stainless steel if you are up close but no one will really be checking out your paint job unless you tell them. I used this on our vent hood over our stove to match the new SS stove as I didn't want to take down the old one and purchase a new one. Follow the directions and you will be satisfied with the outcome. I used very light coats but maybe a little too light. If you aren't getting back for another coat after the previous coat dries you should rinse out the sponge applicator instead of letting it sit in the plastic bag. Would I purchase again? Yes.

It takes more coats to cover to give a nice finish for both coats than recommended

I changed out my white appliances with stainless steel - all but the trash compactor. I used the Nuvo Stainless Steel and it has the compactor fitting in nicely. I would recommend it to anyone who would rather spend $25.00 instead of $1400 to replace the appliance.

I have a white dishwasher that is over 15 years old and still works. We bought stainless steel appliances but didn't want to replace the dishwasher since it works.. I used the stainless steel paint and the dishwasher looks great! I followed the instructions but had very noticeable streaks from the foam brush no matter how many times I put a new coat on. I decided to use a 2 1/2 inch foam roller and it solved the streak problem..I wish I would've used it from the beginning... I'm very happy with the results.

The new Stainless Steel paint consistency The new stainless steel paint was very waterery and totally useless. The silver coating was so clear it might as been the Topcoat. Waste of money.

I was very disappointed with this product. Based on what I read, I was led to believe that I could use it on my stove top. However, after carefully apply it, as directed, the surface where I applied the product turned yellowish brown as if it was burned. Apparently, this product can not withstand the heat. Due the damage caused by this product, I am now forced to replace the stove top at an added expense. This product definitely, did not work and can not take the heat of as cooking stove. Based on my disappointing experience, I would not recommend this product.
