Limited by counter top between the stove and fridge , we found most microwave ovens of this power rate ing were 1.5 inches wider. So we selected this unit by size . Note: we were completely amazed at performance of this unit . Heats fast and even , easy to use key board controls. A+ rated and for $75,00 we could not have made a better choice at any price.

Nice unit. Great compact size for a small space, simple controls, easy to use. Good-looking. Rotating plate and track included. It defaults to a High heat setting out of the box, which is too hot for most foods. I reset the default to be 50 or 60% (more like a Med heat setting) and then it worked perfectly.

I bought this to replace a similar 20 year old Sanyo microwave. It appears to have similar features and works well. Some people have commented that it's quite loud, however it seems about the same as my previous microwave, so I would say that it's average. Only time will tell whether it lasts as long as the previous microwave did.

Great Product

Nicely designed and efficient counter top 1000watt microwave. Something that most people looking for function over bell's and whistles would find satisfactory. Have had mine nearly 2 months now, no issues. Really like interior design which helps with quality of heating/cooking distribution. Easy to use and a good value. Magic Chef puts out decent product for the $$$.

The door would not close.

Works good, looks nice and was reasonably priced

Plugged it in, set up the clock, but it did not work. Tried the automatic settings, tried manual settings and no dice. Didn't run out of the box. Of course, I assume it will at least run out of the box so I throw out the box and wrapping. Horrible. I had it shipped so maybe it took a spill along the way. Either way I'm in the market for another microwave. Uggh.

Small enough for a small countertop but big enough for a full size plate. Easy to use. Good product.

It's a great microwave. I had a Magic Chef microwave in my motor home. After 14 years of extensive use the keypad stopped working. I went to Home Depot and did some measuring. It was exactly the same size as the original. I bought it and took the old one out and mounted the original motor home face plate on it. Exact same screw holes. A great unit. The old one I replaced was 700 watts. This new one is 1000 watts. It works great.

It looks fantastic and works great. The power level feature is very difficult to figure out because the instructions don't match the buttons on the microwave. We still don't know if we have it figured out, as there is really no way to tell.

POOR QUALITY & EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE MAJOR FLAW: This model intermittently ignores the HIGH power setting and switches over to cycling at a lower power level (about 50%) and then, also of its own accord, switches back after a day or so (or some undetermined number of uses). We returned the oven to Home Depot and exchanged it for another oven of the same model, thinking that the defect may have been a fluke. Not So! We tried everything we could think of to get the oven to operate normally but no luck. We generally liked the size, features, and price of this model but returned the second unit for a refund. CUSTOMER SERVICE AWOL: We contacted the company twice using their online email form. No Response at all. HOME DEPOT Customer Service was exceptional.

My microwave works like its suppose to and easy to learn how to use ! Bought it Jan 8 2019 from Home Depot works great !

Don't waste your money. This had issues immediately and I should have returned it. The depressed spot isn't deep enough for the plastic piece that holds the glass tray. If you barely bump or push a bowl across the tray it will remove the entire thing. I have only had this a few months and now the nine and stop buttons no longer work. Hopefully everyone will turn these in to the recycle instead of junking up the landfill with them which I'm sure the majority end up within a year.

Watts are very disappointing...
