It was too long to fit into the toilet paper...
It was too long to fit into the toilet paper holder of the bathroom it was needed in. Luckily it did fit into another bathroom's fixture. It was not finished properly as the edges are very sharp.I think the manufacturer needs better quality control.

It is spring loaded to decrease in size to fit many mounting posts. What you described is not consistent with the quality we strive to provide. Perfect for wider Holders
My roller broke and the first brand that I bought was not long enough to securely fit. Moen's was perfect. So, note that not all rollers are the same length and measure to see what size you need. Moen may be too long for you if your holder is skinnier than mine. But if you need one this length, this one is a champ.

Useless for most dispensers.
This is not a universal roller. Useless for most dispensers. I can't really complain about quality, though, given the price. So I'll just keep my review at useless.
