The bar itself is great but the flange covers are unbelievably cheap and difficult to snap into place. I have deformed one of them in the process of trying to install it. The grab bar itself is great and deserves a better flange cover. I am tempted to remove the whole thing and return it.

There were issues getting the caps on either end secure. Seemed like the screws interferes with them. They would attach without. Took quite a while to get them on after trying other options

Concealed Screw Grab Bar with SecureMount and Curl Grip in Brushed Nickel have an internal shape with 2 flat edges on the inside that match up to shape of the mounting posts. The decorative covers can only be installed 2 ways and should not pop off. very attractive but the end caps are incredibly difficult to remove and then reinstall after the bar is secured to the wall. I had to use a small screwdriver to take them off but then reinstalling them was impossible because there is no flat surface to push against. As a result, you can't really snap them back on the mounting plate. A set screw would have been much better.

Using a small screwdriver is the recommended method to remove the end caps, when reinstalling, they do need to be rotated to find the correct fit before snapping into place.
