The ring is very good looking, very sturdy, high quality....
The ring is very good looking, very sturdy, high quality. The mounting hardware on the other hand is not so great. I expect I'll be re-affixing it to the wall within a year.

Replaced a towel ring that the "holder piece" would pop...
Replaced a towel ring that the "holder piece" would pop out of the holder - so I wanted something that if I "grabbed a towel" would allow me to do so - but also not be of such force as to tear the towel holder from the wall. Easy to install - except I had to use some other plastic sleeve with bolt contraptions probably because I use a hand drill and not an electric or battery type. Elegant - odd not round more elliptical shape - maybe a cross between a closed circle and a towel rack that has two mounting points. Looks good - simple and elegant - and can "fit in" with others with a similar finish.
