The towel bar was very easy to install and it looks great.

the hook is very heavy and unless you can find the stud to hang this will put a hole in your wall

Great value for the money, it is very well made. The installation instructions are spot on and the template makes drilling the holes very easy. Installed very quickly.

I purchased this item based on the positive reviews and the fact that it wasn't a "ring" like most towel holders. It looks great in the master bath as our fixtures are "shiny". The design is simple and I believe it would fit well with any decor.

The piece has a very nice finish and the package included all of the mounting hardware required including the allen wrench required to fasten the end holders. The bar itself is lightweight but I assume that it is made of high quality, strong materials based on my past experience with Moen quality. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty so if you do have a failure, based on past experience with Moen's excellent customer service, I would expect that they would replace it at no charge. My only beef is that the design results in the towel bar spinning when you pull a towel off of the bar or put one on the bar which makes an irritating rattling noise. There are 3 raised ridges inside of the end holders so if Moen had put some slots in the end of the bar that mated with the raised ridges this would have prevented the spinning & noise. Seems like it would have been an easy fix on their part. I had some spare rubber faucet washers laying around which fit inside of the end pieces which stopped the spinning & noise which was an easy work around. Perhaps Moen could include some rubber washers in their installation kit. The mounting template was OK to work with but since I only had 2 hands I needed to tape 1 end to the wall while positioning the 2nd end of the template. If you use tape make sure you use something like the blue painters tape to avoid the possibility of lifting the paint from the wall when you remove the tape.

Super easy install! I'm 8-month's pregnant, not incredibly handy, and I completed the entire install in about 20 minutes. The fixture comes with a paper template you tape to the wall first. If you level the template and leave it up while you drill the holes for the wall anchors, everything will automatically align and be level once you're done. It's pure genius!!! I've had a harder time hanging picture frames! The kit includes the wall anchors and screws. All you need for the install is a 5/16" drill bit and drill, phillips screw driver, level, and tape. The pivoting arm works great! We're using this toilet paper holder to replace a one-armed toilet paper holder we previously had. That holder continually loosened from the wall, allowing the arm to slope a tad bit, and then the paper roll would fall off onto the floor. This was hugely annoying, especially for the common late night pregnancy trips to the bathroom....trying to bend over with a giant pregnant belly and fish around on the floor for the paper roll in the dark wasn't cutting it. The finish looks sharp too. I'm heading back to Home Depot this weekend to pick up another holder for our other bathroom.

This has a template on paper to make the holes easier to drill. Start with a small drill, tape to the wall and spend some time checking you are level. I found a stud where not expected. This made the distance between the wall attachments about 1/16th too close for the towel pole. This worked out with a little filing and rasping to shorten the pole.

I love It. It was easy to install and easy to use. Even my kids can change the toilet paper roll now.

These towels bars are great in every way, especially if you have other products from the Moen Ashville line.

The installation went smoothly. I simply followed the template and everything fit. The pivoting feature makes changing rolls of toilet paper super easy.

I chose these towel bars for their handsome looks but didn't realize how well made they are until I got them home. The matching toilet tissue holder has a flip up bar for the roll rather than one of those spring loaded parts. It's a very cool design. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Didn't like the looseness of the bars when inserted into the end pieces.The quality is a little lacking in that area.Other than that,it has a nice finish and easy to install.

Looks beautiful in my bathroom! Although the pivoting rod is made of somewhat cheap material, the feature is great.

Nice looking fixture. The mounts are sturdy but the bar itself is not. It is very hollow and lightweight. It will be best for a hand towel, not a regular bath towel.

Relatively easy to install, and it looks good. Pivot arm snaps in place unlike other manufacturers' products.

Unfortunately this one is not. I have now installed 4 of the Moen Ashville towel bars and every one of them was a pain. Please don't get me wrong, the quality and the finish are wonderful. I would have added more stars overall if these and all towel bars in general would not be so finicky to install. I was replacing the builder installed standard cheapo models with these Moens. Good news is the spacing between brackets was/is identical. Bad news is, the Moen mounting brackets use an allen set screw to hold the arms in place and if you do not have the mounting brackets in EXACTLY the right spot there is no room for error and by using an allen set screw, the simple act of turning the set screw turns in to a frustrating waste of time. I wish manufacturers would come up with a new way of making the brackets. I think with this Moen the mounting bracket and lower finial of the arm could be made into one piece which could be attached to the wall securely and then the final finial where the bar is inserted could be screwed into the wall mounted bracket, thus allowing a stronger connection and much easier installation. What should have taken me ten minutes took close to 40 because each time I would set the screw the arm would fall off the mounting bracket because of the tolerances on the inside of the arm. There is a little slot to catch the upper portion of the bracket but because of the way the bracket and the arm fit, there is no "wiggle" room once you start setting the allen screw. Frustrating yes, but the finished product is a nice addition and upgrade to our bathrooms.

A decent product for a decent price. It looks durable.

The open-ring design makes it much easier to grab and re-hang the hand towel using only one hand. Looks great in our new bathroom. We bought all the matching pieces and were not disappointed.
