Works very well but must have a limited life span since I had to replace a similar unit installed 8 years ago with this new one.

It doesn't go into it's "off" position easily, and since people are generally lazy, I find it is always "on" because it requires a pretty good push to get past the switch.

Did the trick. Perfect when you need to squeeze 2 dimmer switches in a single gang box. I only wish they sold it in the store but the online order came in fast.

It is a little big for the socket but fits and works great

It was simple to wire. Easy to follow instructions. I have two lights I wanted to control independently, this indicated it did that on the box. IT DOES NOT. One has to be one before the other one, but they both dim at the same time. They are NOT completely separate circuits!! Kinda disappointed.

Remodeled the bed room, replaced traditional fan and light with LED light and cove lighting. Replaced the light and fan switch with this dimmer for separate control of the lights. Two things to be aware of, it is a big switch and will take a lot of room in the box and to turn it to the off position takes too much pressure so they don't always get turned all the way off.

It functions as expected. Quality doesn't demand a higher rating.

Nice dual sliding dimmer switch to control two sets of lights in the same room. Installation was straightforward.

Causes fan to make noise.

Had to return. Made poorly and very plasticy/cheap feeling. sliders even got jammed.

It can dim pass the point that an LeD bulb can handle - but it was easy to install and wire. Instructions were perfect!

This is a deep switch mechanically, so getting everything into a standard sized box can be a challenge.

This is great item, this way you have control of both lights. One can be on high and one light dim.

There is a dearth of products like this, 2 dimmers that can but put in a single box, in fact this was the only one I found. The only problem is that it isn't necessarily suitable for LED bulbs, so you can get some strobing of dimmed light bulbs. Otherwise, I would recommend this product to serve a specific purpose.

This dimmer switch separately dims two different *light* fixtures from one switch box. It *does* work with the *dimmable* Cree LED bulbs I bought from Home Depot, even though Lutron does not certify the switch for LED bulbs, only incandescent or halogen. Your mileage may vary with other LED bulbs, especially ones *not* marked "dimmable." Addressing some other negative reviews, I can't assess the long-term durability, as mine is a new install. Also this switch will *not* work with a fan and light. For that you need a different switch HD sells, the Lutron Skylark 300-Watt Single-Pole Fan Control and Dimmer Model # S2-LFSQH-WH. Also the sliders on mine are not sticky, hard to operate, or hard to turn off; either Lutron has fixed this issue or there are some bad units out there. Return your new one if it comes that way. INSTALLATION TIPS: Pay attention to the instructions which ask you to attach the black Lutron wire to the wire attached to your old dual switch which is on the side with a break-off tab--the instructions show how to identify this. The red wire on the Lutron should be attached to the fixture you want the dimmer slider on the right to control, if this matters. Finally when screwing the switch in, pay attention to which end of the switch is marked UP; otherwise your dimmer switch might be upside down and you'll have to take it out and flip it around again unless you like sliding up to make it dimmer!
