Fixtures were easy to install. 2 of them had some bent ends however, they were being used in a workshop and wasn't a big deal. They were easy to reshape so the end caps would snap in properly. If they were to be installed for a customer I would've had to reduce the overall cost some or deal with the aggravation of returning them to the store. There was no indication of damage looking at the packaging. No biggie! The fixtures provide ample lighting and considering the cost it was worth it. I was considering LED fixtures and would've spent double the overall cost if the area was used on a daily basis to achieve longer fixture life, but the area is used on a limited basis.The fixtures are easy to convert down the road to LED with simple lamp swap providing the newer style fixture ballast might be acceptable drivers for the LED bulbs.

Cheaply made

The material was so light, when I received the light, it was bent out of shape and I had to bend it back into shape.

When one of my recessed light fixtures failed, I needed a replacement. This is a near perfect, exact match to what I had in my recessed lighting. Perfect for my needs.

The light was easy to install.

The lite was just what I wanted. It was easy to install.

Junk, buy as last resort Not assembled, pieces fit together poorly, requires bending pieces and hammering Knock out for connection not fully stamped, spent more time drilling knock out out than installing fixture Cover doesn't fit snugly (thin metal), used foil tape to hold cover to fixture tightly Unfortunately this appears to be the only fixture sold in Canada retail

Excellent fixture for the price.

The unit was packaged well. Instructions were clear and accurate. Other big box home improvement stores did not even offer 48'' 2-lamp T12 fixtures. Home Depot also had a very good price for it. Well satisfied!!!

Lasted a few hours and ballast went out.

Just what I needed for the job.

This product is the best light for shop and garage lighting. I have used these units in many of my homes. I find hard to believe you are discontinuing them! Gene Irestone

Works well. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because it did not come with a chain to hang or any other means.

Made a great replacement for my old fluorescent fixture. It is instant on now!

A lot of light

easy to install. be care fill metal is sharp (WEAR GLOVES).

Fixture was received damaged. Was not the fault of the delivery service. Package had be opened and resealed prior to shipment. Apparently returned to Home Depot and they resealed and shipped out on line since no one would purchase "as-is" in the store.I would have returned but needed the fixture to finish a job and spent a half hour straightening the metal in order to use.

Easy to install, had no issues, had it 3 weeks, meets expectations.

Poor quality, inadequate lumn capability. Returning 2 of 3 lights purchased.

One end cap missing, and the "twist lock " for the cover was also missing. Granted, the box had been opened and re sealed but whoever did this didn't check to make sure that all parts were there. D

Would have been nice if there was some Avenue by the manufacturer to put the two together long ways. Nice light no noise.
