Worked like a charm

Welding rods are tightly wrapped and dry. I wish they came in a resealable container but they don't so I put them in another brand's container to keep them dry. Home Depot price is lower than most places. I prefer these using these welding rods to another brand.

Worked well with the welder

The welding rods were dry and was exactly what I needed to weld rusty pipe.

It good

These rods gave me just annoying trouble. They kept sticking to the metal no matter which heat setting I tried. It drove me nuts. I went and bought a box of 6013 and they welded perfect with no trouble.

Think the rods were to big for my welder. Possibly better on my 220 welder.

Burn hot but not bad welding sticks

I use various rods, depending on the application, but these are my favorite go-to rod. I can make these rods do almost anything. 6011 leaves very little slag, which is part of their versatility. Rods that leave slag, like 7018, force you to weld in certain ways because you can't weld over the slag without cleaning it first. Fleetweld 180 leaves the least slag, essentially none, so you're free to weld in any pattern you wish that gets the weld in there with deep penetration and strong.

Constant quality

I will say that the price for the welding rods was quite good but I find that several rods act as if they are wet. A few have flux crumbled off which could be the shipping but several do not flow as they should. They start great and then start to stick, just like wet rods.

Excellent product however Home Depot needs to stock more sizes like 5/32
